The past few months the new edm genre Phonk completely went viral on the internet. Artist as Kordhell, moondeity & Shadxwbxrn are pioneering the genre. In this tutorial we'll be covering Phonk. We'll be making a Phonk style drop from scratch in FL Studio.
The Phonk style consists of a few key elements. First the cowbell kinda sound. We'll be making the Phonk Cowbell in Serum. Phonk producers use an 808 for the bass most of the time. We'll be making our 808 bass in serum. The drums are quite similar to bass house but they’re clipping more than bass house. Phonk also consists of a typical phonk styled vocal. It's a rap vocal but then heavily mixed and pitched. In this tutorial we'll be covering all those Phonk elements.
So, in this tutorial we'll be making a Phonk drop from scratch in FL Studio like Kordhell & Shadxwbxrn do in their productions.
