Adam's willingness to go ALL THE WAY IN on every single sketch is both terrifying and wonderful.
Adam is NOT. FUCKING. AROUND.
Yeah that’s called acting.
Yeah, some hosts hesitate to embrace the craziness (no shade) and others fully harmonize with the snl vibe.
Gayest post you'll read all day
Terrifying?
Adam Driver is seriously underrated as a comedic actor. He carried this skit all by himself.
He did, that was great.
He was hilarious in Girls, carried that show
He crarries just about every project he's in
He always does! "Career Day" is the best!!! ua-cam.com/video/t7HD2xG92-0/v-deo.html
They don't keep inviting him back because he's bad at comedic acting. He's great in all his comedy roles, it's just he's just even better at dramatic roles and those are what get most of the attention.
“The Peppa Pig device? That is ALL I want.” -Adam Driver, 2023
Only he could pull off such a stupid line
I love him 😂

The Leslie Nielsen approach
Yeah Ilove how he expresses infant emotions in adult, really articulate ways 😆🤣
Almost all good comedy is done that way.
I’m not sure anyone has told Adam that SNL is, in fact, a comedy show.
He gives an Oscar-worthy dramatic performance every time.

THIS is the sketch that needed to be 6 minutes long. Major props to whoever wrote it. The inner monologue of the baby was just so on point.
I’m certain Sarah had a major hand in the concept, if not the whole piece.
omg this is too real!
Sarah Sherman and Please Dont Destroy wrote this sketch. Makes sense.
"Is he pooping, I don't like the way he's looking at me!?" Adam Driver is the GOAT! His commitment to each sketch is amazing! You wouldn't think such a serious actor would be this funny, but he nails it every time!
Whoever wrote this PERFECTLY captured the cognitions of a baby & how they feel in different situations without the capacity to express their thoughts & feelings, except that Adam Driver ALSO expresses them. Brilliant AND hilarious!
They did it brilliantly! I have a 13 month old son and I recognise so much of it! XD
This is so bizarre but so interesting! Verbalizing a baby's experience so well was hilarious!
ua-cam.com/video/TLQ2Yv8KMOM/v-deo.html This movie will blow your minds.
I feel like it was probably Sarah given that she's the master of strange body-altering/costume stuff.
@@sweepingdenver it was Sarah and the PDD guys
I work with babies around that age and this was 100% baby representation at its finest. Such smooth transition between the peek a boo and large poop. The scream after poop is optional, but I liked how Adam D delivered it.
Same! The eye contact whilst pooping is spot on.
Need milk?
It’s concerning for a person who claims they work with babies to treat a snl satire skit as something 100% realistic to life. Either your lying, purposely exaggerating, or have never had any real experience with a baby besides observing one cry and scream on a public transport.
@@selardohr7697 maintaining direct eye contact while aggressively pooping is one of the many things babies and dogs have in common XD
Thanks for your expert opinion. As an ignorant human, this is news to me.
Adam Driver is a menace!! 😂 He totally nailed this sketch! He’s clearly been holding back his comedic abilities. Wow!
If you think this is good, look up his oil baron sketch from a previous appearance. It’s my favourite ever SNL sketch and his commitment is phenomenal! It’s HILARIOUS 😂
"We could all rent Subarus".
The oil baron sketch is one of my all-time favorites of anything ever! True acting and comedy!
I missed the Medieval Times skit is so hilarious.
you should check out the movie The Dead Don't Die where he stars with Bill Murray it's bloody hilarious
Adam always CRUSHES on SNL! Probably one of the best guests they have.
That is the very best baby played by an adult skit I've ever seen. Adam really nailed it and he was hilarious. I'll add to what everybody else is saying he really gave 100% effort and it shows.
"You killed him you b*tch!" was the best line
Reminds me of stewie and Lois 😂
😂😂😂
Most funniest part. 😂
I laughed so hard
Im sure you get this a lot, but I tried to brush your profile pic off of my phone screen. You bastard 😂
Adam Driver is one of the few hosts who could have played this part. He gets the balance just right in the screaming and crying and all the rest. You can tell they had a lot of trust in him to give him this type of sketch.
I can't tell which comments are sarcasm anymore.
Was he operating the arms too..the shaking when screaming was on point. 😂
Adam's baby behaviors are so realistic, it's like he's studied them somehow. 😁
He was once a baby.
An actor must first walk a mile in the characters shoes
Hahaha shut up
@@CalvinHikes😂
Has anyone ever slapped a crying baby on the plane?
1:50 The man closing his eyes in the back is the most accurate thing in this video.
The fact that Adam magically captures the essence of a young baby in his gestures and inner thinking said out loud is pure genius. He really is a terrific actor 😎👏🏽
The fact that he just goes all in on these sketches. Lines mostly memorized and all. Total gold.
Adam Driver and Sarah are the perfect combo of weird comedy that doesn't fall flat. Absolutely love this
I 100% believe this is every baby's inner monologue 😂
Same here, they captured it so perfectly.
OMG! I love Adam’s acting and just watching his face with all the expressions during any character!
"I'm done...but I don't like the way it feels" made me laugh way too hard 😂
I swear, Adam Driver as a fussy baby has gotta be the one thing I never knew I needed in my life. 😂😂😂

“Frankly, I miss the womb!!!!”
I thought that was Adam Driver’s role in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
@@johnny.V03 Nah, he was more of the dramatic goth kid in that.
We already got that with Star Wars sequels tho.
I love it kenan killed me with " Stop looking at us."
He always makes every sketch 10 times better!
@@Resh1477 I wonder how Pierre Escargot would have reacted had he been on that flight.
Hard disagree. Thompson so often smiles his way through a scene, wholly inappropriately, ruining any sense of character. His delivery of that line (at 3:19 ), in particular, was an especially unfortunate example. When he wants to actually _act_ he can be great; for me his finest moments are in the Tom Hanks Black Jeopardy. ua-cam.com/video/O7VaXlMvAvk/v-deo.html
Totally agree. Keenan is a nice guy but all his characters are essentially the same. Rarely does he make me laugh.
@@AllenKnutsonhard agree. It’s like his delivery and professionalism has hardly evolved since he was a kid on that terrible 3rd rate Nickelodeon sketch show “All That”, and that show was childish even for kids. He was fine in that black jeopardy skit but the writing and guest performances carried him.
A character break used to be understandable and relatable when it happened every once in a while, because you knew that things had gotten so silly that even the VERY PROFESSIONAL performer was struggling to keep it together.
Now it seems like they purposefully play into it which ruins the integrity of whatever premise they are presenting, on which (in an intelligently written sketch) the landing of the jokes rely on.
This is like the equivalent of a toddler cracking himself up while saying “knock knock” and then forgetting the punchline. Sure, maybe cute when they do it, but fucking embarrassing in any other context.
The background actors deserve a special shoutout for keeping straight faces throughout the hijinks
I think Lorne threatens to shoot them if they break and the fear of actual death keeps them grounded.
They do have the advantage of not actually seeing the players, especially Adam's great facial variations. But I did notice the white-haired lady in the back nearly jump out of her seat at 1:14 with Chloe's startled "Baby Monster!"
It was funny at all 🤔🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@huroles1275 It "WAS," you say?
The guy in green on the back row was obviously channeling the last flight that he was on with a baby. The side eye and then back to his phone was perfect.
That was really good. This is honestly my favorite Adam Driver role since Girls!
This dude is funny as hell. He fits so well in comedic roles rather than serious ones like Star Wars
Have you watched Undercover Boss Kylo Ren?
I blame any shortcomings of him playing Kylo Ren on the writers, not his acting skills.
@@axllomein7215he wasn’t even bad. 😭
@ABC-sz7rd I agree.
@@ABC-sz7rdHe was one of the few good things that came out of that trainwreck of a Disney trilogy. And yes, the shortcomings of the Kylo Ren character (or pretty much all the characters for that matter) shouldn't be blamed on him but the incompetence of the writers and directors of the trilogy.
Adam driver is that type of actor you wouldn't think you would see on SNL but his ability to be so sharp & convincing whatever role or character he's playing it's crazy how good of an actor he really is

This is an instant classic, absolute 10 out of 10 SNL performance.
Adam Driver rocks every damn sketch that he is in. No matter the role, he will nail it, and he will make it funny. Even when the sketch itself isn't that great. This one was hilarious. I love his dedication to every character no matter who, or what he's playing. As I always say, he is the best host of SNL of all time, and I wish he were a permanent part of the cast. Adam is one of the best hosts ever, which is for some reason, surprising. One of my favorite sketches ever is him playing the old tycoon.
