I remember when you didn't trust that cop, played by Robert Blanche, when he first appeared on the show. Amazing how one single decision can alter your view of an individual. The growth doesn't just occur with the characters on the show. We can grow from experiencing it as well. Admittedly, this is a large part of what makes watching others go through the same journey with a concerted interest. This show doesn't stop giving. Even after multiple watch-throughs.
My cousin Robert Blanche was a wonderful actor and I miss him. RIP 😭 😭

I remember when I was watching this episode, it felt like I was right there with the gang. Trying to find ways to help Nick escape the cops. So intense! Being cornered like that almost felt suffocating at times. I was like, how the heck are Nick and the gang going to get out of this?
I love side characters like our good old friend Bud and Sgt. Franco who have been there from the beginning, just lending a helping hand and being just good guys. It helps the story and it's characters have more room to move around since most of the main characters are stuck in one place in the story,
Re: Carrying the stick all the time - Remember that while one of the words on the cloth was Miraculum (miraculous), the other was Periculosum ("hazardous, perilous, threatening. Dangerous.") and with what Eve saw... there's no telling what price there might be for using that sort of power (it was buried for a reason).
