The singers name is Brittany Howard, and her singing talent makes her simply beautiful...

Watching Brittany is amazing. She just loses it and goes into another world. I love seeing how some people can full send it without thought of what anyone else may think. Complete therapy for the soul.

I heard them live on KCRW and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this band. I tried sooo hard to win tickets to their sold out show at Troubadour ... but *sigh* wasn't lucky enough.... but I will be there when they come back to Los Angeles .. which I hope is soon

It's a fresh sound that not most bands play. But yes. That bright eyes sound is pretty close :)
They need a horn section. Hopefully they continue to grow, because they have incredible potential. They're pretty good already.
