Wow, didnt know they got a new bag... Boundary supply was a lot people's first EDC and how we go deep down into this rabbit hole. Nice video ! thank you.
I love my Boundary Supply Errant, obsidian colour, xpac, bright interiors. Beautiful, over-engineered & reasonably priced (sales). These new packs crazy prices and black interiors, not taking a second look. But great video as always.
On one side of the stasis there is an extra zip like there is an extra pocket on the side ? i like a lot the size and overall the bag but the price is insane.Overall very nice review 👌
God this just hurts to watch. (not your video, the bag and Boundary Supply). Just like their logo going from simple and clean to ugly and complicated. This takes everything great about the Rennan and throws it out the window. An excellent $100 bag like the Rennan that could have used some useful updates but now it's $450 and a complete pain in the ass to use. It's tons and tons of little things for me. Why does the luggage pass through strap need a fidlock with a gated attachment, instead of just using a G-hook like all their other bags? What happened to the excellent contrast color interior like mustard or greenish blue of their other bags? Why is there no sunglasses/phone quick access pocket? Why must it only come in Xpac?
Seriously. Boundary Supply is my go-to brand but I'm praying their future bags aren't like this. I like the logo. I like the materials. I hate the design here, it's like they tried putting a pocket or a magnetic clip anywhere they could find without considering it's use or the user experience. Thoughtfulness out the window. And I can't believe they designed the stasis to be attached to the rennen like that, where the bottom sags an inch or so below the other pack. Just poor visuals and overall poor design for one of the most expensive 20L backpacks I've seen. Come on Boundary. I want to like this so much but it just isn't it.
No need to pass these as a single bag. You can get a 35L bag in a much more compact format and draw much less attention when travelling. Not to mention all the extra material, zippers, redundant compartments adding a ton weight and also carrying all that weight so far out from your body. And you can take a 2nd smaller backpack for "daily-ing" at your destination. The bags are ok as individual bags, but using them together makes zero sense to me - price, bulk, comfort... all have to suffer.
@JBOutside1 your review was great, and thank you for getting it out so quickly. I'm gathering from your replies that it's not worth the listed price. I think we all expected that. For £200-250 it's just about competitive.
Boudary Supply Errant Pro straps are one of the worse straps I've ever used when carrying a decent load, will never buy another BSupply pack unless they redesign their harness system.
They are ridiculously over-complicated and therefore just as ridiculously overpriced. Way too many things to break or not fit whatever you want to fit.
Full disclosure, I was not made aware of the list price at the time of recording. Lesson learned.

Right on! Thanks

Thanks! I was just as surprised when the price was listed
Overall prefer the look of errant sling to statis pro
Me too

RFID pocket
What is the weight on them? I'm thinking all these features will make them heavier.
1.45kg
3.2 lbs and 2.1 lbs
Great review as always, but I’m not seeing anything that justifies charging HALF that. $450?? That’s CRAZY!
Pinned a comment up top…I was not aware of the list price when recording 🤦🏼♂️
Thats a fat 20L. That price is crazy though. I bought the errant pro xpac and I thought that was already overpriced af. This one is just absurd.
I can see that

Good points for sure!

I agree actually
Is it worth £445?
Price is personal but in all honesty I was not aware of the intended price when recording 😬

@@90MohsinA agree
Better buy an aer xpac for half the price
Yep
As soon as you showed the straps, I knew this wasn’t for me.
Fair enough

I tend to agree…
