first of all vultures are not stupid, and they are beautiful!
They also prevent insane amounts of disease
Facts I love vultures
Finally someone that sees them the way I see em too!
I think they said "stooped"
Nobody said stupid. He said stooped
Lovely birds in their own right. Beautiful wingspan and gliding effortlessly. A true king.

Hi… what’s the narrator’s name?
I love Vultures. In 2015 a Turkey Vulture laid eggs in my porch roof space. I was able to watch the babies grow each day until they fledged. I had a front row seat and I watched their daily antics from my attic window. I have uploaded a few videos to my You Tube Channel. There is some up close footage of the two babies and their Mom.
What’s his name? Of the narrator
I wonder which species were more excited and grateful for the invention of the automobile- humans or vultures?
As the narrator mentions, vultures were seen by the ancients in South America, North America, Europe and of course Egypt (they even portrayed the goddess Nekhbet in hieroglyphs, as a vulture), as sacred birds. Their role was to intercede with or carry messages to the Great Spirit.
Itzpapalotl a Nahua goddess of Chicimeca, Zapotec origin was also associated with the vulture and with moths. And in the case of Cuscatlán (El Salvador) the consort of Ce Acatl Topiltzin Quetzalcoatl
@@TSPH1992Thank you for your interesting comment my friend! The vulture does personify the currents of life and re-birth(death). In Anatolia this Goddess is Cybele.
King vultures are so pretty
And handsome.
Loo
@@dr.robotico8500 lol
Lol
Lol
Vultures are the best birds
vultures>crows
Crows outsmarts them tho, sure vultures might be have a greater size but that's far from the case when reffering to the brain.
There is a really cool video on the BBC channel, a crow finds a dead animal but it can't get through it's hide so it calls upon vultures to start ripping it apart.
The crow then starts nipping at the vultures feather which makes them fight, while all the vultures fight the crow goes for the meat.
OH FUCK I DIDN'T SEE THE DATE OF THE COMMENT
Ita for you for me is ANDEAN CONDOR
@@LittleBraveWarriorIsBest Yup. Crows are smarter than most humans, especially nowadays XD
hurray for the King vulture!! Maya Mountains of Belize
nature never ceases to amaze
King Vultures are SOO BEAUTIFUL.
I recall hearing somewhere that when a king vulture lands on a carcass that other vultures have already taken, the other vultures always step aside and let the king vulture eat first.
size means everything at a carcass, usually when there's a bigger bird the smaller ones simply stand aside cause contesting doesn't make a difference
i would like too se how it react next to a Condor that is a kind of Vulture aswell :P
@@ScanovatheCarnotaurus I think numbers may be able to overcome the size difference sometimes. Turkey vultures are larger than balck vultures, and can destroy them 1 on 1, but when the number of black vultures increase their confidence grows and they start behaving far more violently, eventually making turkey vultures step aside without much resistance
The king vulture is a large bird found in Central and South America. It is a member of the New World vulture family Cathartidae. This vulture lives predominantly in tropical lowland forests stretching from southern Mexico to northern Argentina.
The king truly is beautiful and magnificent. But other vultures, to my eyes, are beautiful and interesting as the king. Nice video.
I love these birds-- I've worked with one before. She was bright pink, absoloutely beautiful. I hope to visit her again sometime, she was a great vulture :)

Fabulous birds .
Amazing info about the bacteria! Isn't nature wonderful?!!
The narrator also said that the vulture has strong stomach acids that kill the bacteria it ingests. But the bird also gets bacteria on its head while it's eating, which is why it stands in the sun.
King Vulture...very appropriate name! They look like royalty!
I agree it is inresting
i think it is nice

♫ My momma done told me, bring home something for dinner! ♫
Hold control on your keyboard and scroll up on your mouse's scroll wheel at the same time, that should fix it.
Beautiful or not, surly fits there title ;]
I remember this video
The mayans didn't die out. They just stopped living in their big cities, long before the Spaniards arrived. You might be thinking of the conquest of the Incas & Aztecs.
wow so the king vulture's wing span is small fry to these sky kings
wow
I love all

Ah, vultures. Our fine feathered friends.
Their are like our garbage cleaners.
+Fabian Abarca Yup. Plus, they help stop the spread of disease.
Thomas Huffman yeah I knew that already XD
King of the Carrion!
saullysaul: not even close. check out the andean condor and the wandering albatross, for example--close to 11 or 12 feet!
Or even mostly colorful it just like a rainbow
wow 1# birds.. very unique
Who'd have thought a vulture could be so majestic? I thought they were merely nature's binmen. Guess not.
سبحان الله
How big is this??
Did you know Vultures Vomit on the attacker as a defense mechanism?
Why is it okay for a vulture to have something like that hanging from its nostril but when I have something similar people refuse to talk to me?
Strong stomach acids kill bacteria, but what about the bacteria in the vulture's mouth & throat?
I'm not anywhere close to drunk enough to consider that bird beautiful. LOL
Can you upload a vid were these guys drive away turkey vultures and black vultures from carcasses?
5 foot wing span...is that the largest wing span?
