It's impossible for someone to cover their own song as it doesn't fit the definition of a cover. A cover is a performance of a song by an artist who didn't originally perform or compose the song.
Back when actual musicians were common, it would be normal for live performances to be significantly different than the original recording but now that most people who are in the music industry are just corporate puppets, most live performances are just recordings with the puppet pretending to perform the algorithmic notes.

Love these songs live. It's like her guitar, fingers, facial expressions, voice are something authentic. The makeup and outfit actually kind of distracted me from the beautiful performance. I guess I'm just not used to hearing beautiful authentic music come out of someone who is dressed up sort of Kardashian-like. I really hope she doesn't do anything permanent like change her teeth or nose or anything. That would be sad. She is so beautiful. Fillers fade so maybe we'll see her natural beauty again someday.
OR we could try and separate image from talent. How a person chooses to dress/present themselves has literally no effect on their abilities. It's the viewers problem if her wearing makeup or A LITERAL PANT SUIT (😂 what's kardashian about that?) affects how you perceive them.

You obviously haven't listened to a lot of music, plenty, and I mean plenty, of songs all use the same chords and progression.
@@VIIKZEE I guess I have listened to a lot more music and different genres than you. I'm musician and studied it, and analyze a lot. I know that fragments of music repeat. But there are way to disguise it or make it a new song. But it's a pretty easy way to play the chords of "Creep" or any song sing a nice melody with simple melody variations and call it a "new" song like this is kinda sensational. That's what she basically did. There is nothing special about it. There are uncountable songs written with 1-4-5 progression... nearly every blues song... but not even one of them sounds like "The Dry cleaner from des moines". But her song sounds just so much like Creep. I guess you haven't listened carefully to music enough.
