- Long awaited project by APTeam.
Originally project started in mid 2016 and was finished in 2018 where 2.11 update came out and broke the level. It remained this way untill 2020 when Davphla fixed the group issue. After that we were pretty unlucky with the verification process. Level also didn't age too well so we decided to revamp (almost) the whole thing. This level is the reason the team exists. I am extremely happy that we decided to restart the level in October 2020. Everything you see in this preview is an effect of hard work during last 7-8 months.
There are still a lot of issues with the level (mostly visual bugs) but performance is really good. Object is aimed to be 300k at max (which is a huge improvement if compared to old 420k). I am very positive that this will perform well for most of the community. Optimization will be always our top priority.
Level also currently does not represent the final difficulty. Most parts are not even buffed. some of them are still nerfed due to previous attempts at verifications. Project is aimed to be Top 1. Toka is the current verifier. Check out his channel! bit.ly/3ossL9p

@@PikaSempai69 I don't think so. It doesn't seem as you know Arcane as well. I like this level, but some parts are just bad core, super dark, static or not very clean as I would like to. Also I think that Arcane's theming is executed better than this. The only thing that I would say is that this feels a lot less plain overall and more detailed than Arcane, but other than that...
Oml. This looks incredible, especially the part at 1:52 . This level definitely pumped energy into the long dead hell theme.

YES, Evasiums part gave great effect to bb and I hope they implement some of what he did into APT

Please bear with me, for I might ramble here.
First things first: THIS IS INCREDIBLE. Not even Cosmic Cyclone looks as good as this, and it isn't even FINISHED.
Secondly, and I know the level isn't entirely finished yet, there's still quite a long way to go. This level truly breaks the barriers of art levels as we know it, and it truly shows how well decorators can come together to create something unforgettable. Now, I will do the best I can not to critique the gameplay, as my feedback is intended to judge the decorations and art, not the level itself.
Let's start with my thoughts on the Cataclysm segment: Overall, an amazing part. It reflects the original in many ways, but also feels like a brand new level. It does the best it can to collect the old styles and color combinations of the original Cataclysm as well, which is an excellent touch. I also love at the slow part (in the original Cataclysm is about 55% or so) instead of just flashing colors, you made the block design and structures at this part occasionally and seemingly dissipate, which is a great effect, and is probably the best part of the Cataclysm segment in my opinion. I give the Cataclysm segment a 7.5/10.
Next we have the Bloodbath segment, aka THE BEST PART. The deco and art during this whole part (besides the unfinished portions) are absolutely astounding. In my opinion, the lava and fire and brimstone and essentially hell themed (I hate using that term because it is usually a negative term for the community as a whole) designs of this part are extremely satisfying and visually pleasing. I love the choice in color, contrast as well as the subtle tributes to the original Bloodbath, as well as the effort put into the rising skull before Etzer's part. The Bloodbath segment gets a 9/10.
That leaves us with the Aftermath segment. Honestly, from what has been done to it so far, I'm super impressed. The floating eyeballs that actually LOOK AROUND are probably the pinnacle of this portion. The colors are decent enough, and the block design so far looks to be pretty well thought out. It is probably the more intimidating part of the level, as it gives the viewer a feeling of fear and doubt that there is hope to survive. Overall a decent looking part, unfortunately, there are minimal times that it slightly deviates from the style and feel of the previous segments. This sadly bumps what could have been a 9.5/10 rating to an 8/10 rating. Nonetheless, it is still a great part, and you should be proud of your work.
Overall, this level is astounding and breathtaking. So far, from what I've seen of this level, everything has been very well executed. I actually watched the entire video from front to back in 720p60fps in 0.5x speed, just so I could savor the details and enjoy the exceptional visuals showcased in this masterpiece. I look forward to the completion of this absolute delight with high anticipation.

The remade portion of cataclysm is the best of the three in this level imo
this level is one of the good examples of how hell levels should look like
0:20, 1:11, 1:52, 2:56, 3:35 and 3:53 are amazing parts

Most hell theme levels are missing lava so that’s why this looks so good compared to a lot of hell levels

@@gustav9065 well, they first gotta decorate the remaining bits (around a few months maybe even a year idk) then the verification as well, Sonic Wave (top 40) did take 1.5 years to verify (even tho that was back in 2016) so for all I know, it might not be out until late 2022 (earliest) or late 2023 (latest)

They completely revamped the project,only a few parts were kept though

This is going to be masterpiece. I really love parts: 0:20 0:34 1:51 3:24 3:35 3:52 and 4:10 - those are the best of best parts in my opinion. Some parts felt bit outdated, or they wont fit to the rest of the level (in my opinion), like for example very end of Aftermath (4:23), also 3:09 Bloodbath part and the beggining of Bloodbath 1:41. I would like to say, that the custom lava is absolutely perfect - I really love it (1:51 and other parts that uses it) I am really excited to see more progress on this level - Love it! :))

My new favourite hobby is watching this video and pausing at random times to look at the absolutely astounding amount of decoration and detail.
This is so fricking insane. I remember when I first discovered you. We were both working on a level for Boy_Of_The_Cones and even then, (like 5-6 years ago) I couldn’t fathom how great of a builder you were and how many details were in your work, this sentiment stays true to this day but, amplified, by a LOT!

This level is fucking awesome. I agree with the people saying evasiums part should be gray, otherwise, I think the level is perfect. The lighting is done so well, the perfect shades of red, atmosphere and detail is almost the best I've ever seen. The difficulty adds even more of the hell feeling, I really hope someone verifies this.

Even if it drops at 30fps it's okay because it's the end of the level and there are no big movements of the ending screen that you would miss if it was dropping frames. However, on mobile the ending may make the devices crash or drop to less than 15 frames.

I actually screamed holy shit accidentally and got beat by my dad, worth it.
I feel like the aftermath part should be brighter than the rest of the level representing hope because you’re almost at the end, and the beginning of cata should be darker to look more like you’re entering hell with a big flash into the first wave.
