- So...yeah. A lot has happened; a lot I've not really wanted to talk about, but at this point, I owe you guys more than an explanation.

First of all, please take all the time you need shadow, and I mean that. I know how it feels since I’ve been animating myself for a year now and it’s tiring. No matter what people demand, you need to focus on yourself and your mental health first and foremost!
Secondly, I am so shocked about Wubcake, I thought she was a really nice person and I’ve interacted with her a few times before Eugh I’m really sorry to hear about that, and also about the stalker too, that’s really creepy.
All of this combined with your personal family life is probably a lot to handle, which is why I hope other fans understand your situation, please take your time at your own pace with things and take care of yourself! We are all here to support you!

For me, it was the arcs, the ocs, and the overabundance on the memes. I never liked it when they made things more serious, SMG4 back then was never meant to be taken serious, it was all just Mario recolors in a chaotic world involving hobos, swag with rocket launching wielding teletubbies. Desti was just a character who appeared in one video then came back in the anime arc just to die but.... characters have died before in older videos and came back just fine, so why should I take it serious? It's stupid.
@@mario_and_friends_youtube1985the lawsuit arc and it wasn’t because of the redesign of SMG4 and SMG3. It was the premise itself. The stakes were lower, the 'villains' were just a generic evil company (This is one of my biggest problems with the arc), and so many plot holes that you might as well compare it to colander. And it wasn’t just the lawsuit arc, after the revelation arc, I was burned out from SMG4’s recent content, it just felt the same with nothing new, interesting or even fresh.
Dear Shadow, while I am saddened to hear about Wubcake, your father, and your stalker, I am glad to hear that you are still giving us all your best. Also, while the Elements of Insanity are what drew me to your channel, they are not the only reason I subscribed. You are a master of your craft and, in my personal opinion, a genius with Gmod. Keep your chin up and know that your true fans and friends love you. Peace and love.

I'd like to take the time to say my personal thoughts of the things talked about in this video, and I will be using the timestamps provided. Be prepared, because this is going to be a LONG one. Without further ado, let's get started.
1:13 First and foremost, that stalker is STILL after you?!?!?! And now he's gotten to a point where you'll need to contact AUTHORITIES!?!??! Jesus H. Christ on a pogo stick, this is bad. Like, this guy REALLY needs to cut it out. If there's ANYTHING me or any of your fans can do, PLEASE do not hesitate to let us know. We'll be MORE than willing to help you out in this regard. And while I'm happy that your father is alright, can people AT LEAST give you enough time to focus on your work? Focus is a key part of being productive, and the fact that it's been practically impossible for you to do that due to the new members of your house must be EXTREMELY hard on your motivation as of late. I REALLY hope that you can overcome this, and make some content for the fans once more someday. Moving on..
3:43 As someone who actually discovered the Wubcake situation by COMPLETE ACCIDENT, I am absolutely APPALLED by Wubcake's actions. And honestly, before this all went down, I actually looked up to Wubcake, along with many other VA's. After learning what she did, I could NOT support her any longer, especially after learning that a victim of hers, who happens to be a good friend of not only you, but MANY others, straight up VANISHED because of Wubcake and what she did. I'm sorry you had to cut ties with her, but I can DEFINITELY understand why, and I will support you no matter what. And about Paper & Ink and the cover of Another Chapter, to be honest, I actually enjoyed SquigglyDigg's singing, and I know just from the short clip shown, that we are in for an ABSOLUTE TREAT. Good luck on the video for Akuago (to him and the rest of Ze Pyromancers, love your content and can't wait for the future videos on your channel) and the follow-up to the Double Shadow prank call video with Jasper (really excited to see what CRAZY shenanigans you and Jasper have come up with for this one). And in extension to that, I'll be waiting PATIENTLY for Untold Darkness Episode 2 as well as Lyrish: Epilogue. I am a patient person, and as they always say, quality over quantity. Something can't be good if it's rushed, after all. And finally, to all of the more rabid fans that are reading this, STOP ASKING SHADOW TO MAKE MORE EOI VIDEOS!!!!! I GET that you love the series and the characters! I DO TOO!!!! But PLEASE understand that Shadow is ONE FUCKING PERSON running this entire damn channel!!!! And because of EVERYTHING that has been going on as of late, HE! NEEDS! A! BREAK! FROM! EOI! CONTENT!!!! I am TIRED of hearing that people are STILL asking Shads to do EOI content AND NOTHING ELSE!!! He has OTHER projects he'd like to do first for God's sake!!!! And I'm willing to bet that once he does EVENTUALLY make an EOI video, all of the rabid fans are going to be like, "What took you so long?" "Why did this take so long to come out?" YOU KNOW WHY!!!!! He has stated it NUMEROUS times!!!!! I'm not going after EVERYONE with this. I'm only going after everyone who CONSTANTLY demands EOI stuff from him and NOTHING else. Therefore, I have decided that the last time I mentioned this would be the LAST time I was going to be nice about this. But since the more rabid fans STILL don't want to listen, I'm going to have to be a little more aggressive. So, for the love of God Almighty himself, either stop asking him for EOI stuff, or there may be a VERY high risk of Shads CANCELLING the EOI due to not only the things going on in his life, but also because of fans like you CONSTANTLY BOMBARDING HIM with demands to make EOI stuff. You don't want that to happen, do you? Well, then stop demanding it from him. LET HIM UPLOAD MORE EOI STUFF WHEN HE'S READY TO DO SO!!!! Please! And! Thank you!!!!! Moving on..
7:40 Honestly, the $50 and $100 tiers were a bit too much, so I'm glad you remove those two. Creating tiers is tricky. You have to balance the amounts in a way where everyone will benefit from them, and in a way where you won't break their banks. And, I hate to admit this, you kind of broke that second requirement in half with those insane amounts. Breaking someone's bank in terms of support isn't really a good thing, so I'm glad you realized that and removed both of the highest tiers. And honestly, the 4 tiers now are fair AND beneficial for anyone willing to support you. And I do encourage everyone to support this lad. He's an EXTREMELY talented individual, and deserves all of the love and support possible, ESPECIALLY considering what he went through recently. If you can, you can. If you can't, then spread the word out. Moving on..
9:46 Shadow, I get it. Things have NOT been easy for you in 2023. And it's clear to see why. But a new year is upon us, good lad. May this year be full of productivity, new memories, some good laughs, and more moments that you can share with us all. You have gained many opportunities lately, and I do hope you continue to gain many more.

I subbed at first due to EoI, but i understand that above all else, that great series must stay on the back burner til you get a lot more balanced or done. you are great overall shads, keep taking breaks when you need to

I can't help but feel disappointed that I haven't seen anymore of his gmod videos throughout 2023. Nevertheless, at least you haven't given up on your future projects yet.
I'll be real with ya. Seeing Wubcake's downfall was such a heavy kick in the nads. Even though I wasn't actively following her, I always respected her work and role as Sunset Shimmer in the past, both in your animations and her older projects. Seeing the skeletons in her closet disheartened me quite a bit.
I originally came to this channel from the elemental of insanity series I have started watching your video form every now again always wish you the best even tho I have not been a constant watcher of your channel I have enjoyed your music videos

In some ways, I can relate to the stress, worries, and disappointment you're feeling. Shadow, all I ask is that you don't let the negative thoughts get to you. You still have people who care for you and enjoy your content to this day, which is an astounding achievement for you, and all the fantastic people who helped you get this far should be proud of themselves.
Sheesh...I haven't heard of an incident that nasty about someone in the MLP community since 2018. (Not mentioning who for everyone's sake) But you made the right choice in cutting ties with her.
And for everything else, I completely understand with the stalker (1,000,000% CALL THE COPS ON THAT PERSON!), your dad, and all the projects, you had a LOT on your plate. (I lost a job at the start of 2023 so I know how much it stinks). Keep your chin up and keep on trucking Shadow! Just got to the part of EoI. While that was the main reason I subscribed to your channel, I am looking forward to seeing other projects you are working on.
Take as much time as you Shadow. I went through alot last year as well. Going through loss and juggling work and college and even when nothing updates your videos helped me through the tough times of my life and it helped stayed distracted from moments of stress to something fun or story diving into. After watching and finding out about Wubcake was just... horrifying to say the least. I truly wish you well through everything Shadow. You're works helped through my earlier years and as a young adult of today, take as much time as you need and focus on yourself. It's okay and I support everything you do all the way and take a long break as long as you want to rest because we are all human and we all need the break to focus on our health and well being. I can't wait for more of your works in the future and more of any video really! 💖💖💖

As for the latter, keep in mind that *A)* it's a GMod tennis between Shadow and BriefCasey, *B)* it was BriefCasey's turn to upload the next part, and *C)* it's just been radio silence from him on that front (best case scenario: Shadow is still waiting on BriefCasey).
TL:DR, you can keep your fingers crossed, but I wouldn't bank on the answer being "yes."
