I'm trying one of the blue unbranded "120a" ESC's with a black 3900KV brushless motor combo in my EVO that I got off ebay for $40. So far I like it better than the GoolRC's because I can use my programming card with this ESC and the ON/OFF switch is waterproof. It's the fake gool rc..Sounds weird I know lol..But it's a knock off of a knock off..I did a vid on it a few years ago
Knockoffs of knockoffs make great YT Content! 🤣
8:49 dollars US😂 thanks for the info tho
Hahaha, any time! 👊
Sync rect. = timing
Speak about ok, but i want to see this combo in action!
Watch this vid, motor/esc installed!

Mine caught on fire.
Woah, that sucks! Hopefully it didn't burn a kit down with it. 👊
@@poorboysrc No it didn't, but I learned my lesson!
@@whoopdattrick23 good stuff, lesson learned dude! 🤙
Why did that happen, what battery did u use?
@@anthonyfakhoury7427 I believe it was a 2s Zeee battery
do not run that on 3s with this kv or it wil burn
Yeah it's pretty dodgy on 2S. I'll keep the 3S for the quality, name brand gear I run. 👊
I regret ordering this thing! My kids rc will run for about 30 seconds and just stop and start again 30 seconds later. These things are junk!
That's brutal! Sorry to hear! So many viewers have had good luck, mine is hit and miss now, just like yours. I'll never buy it again either.
@@poorboysrc I’m guessing it’s the esc? I should try a hobbying esc and see if it’ll sort itself out.
@@ajgreen868 yeah the esc seems to be the weak point with this setup. Lots of positive reviews on the motors, just keep the exposed bearings lubed, they're made of cheap metal and I found mine to rust pretty easy. 👊
@@poorboysrc will do man! Thanks for the tip!!
@@ajgreen868 any time bro, thanks for watching and commenting! 👊
It sucks
Yeah the esc is a real let down. I find the motor is decent though.
@@poorboysrc I havent had any trouble out of the esc it has impressed me but I'm sure they all differ, I put in a rocket motor 4390 kv
@@jameswisecarver my esc just kinda quits working at random times, I've double checked all the connections, just seems to cut out and back in whenever it wants to. 🤷♂️
@@poorboysrc well that's no good I'd swap it out too. When I do I'll go to a hobby wing esc
@@jameswisecarver can't go wrong with HW! 👊
