I have lived in St. Charles, St. Peters, O'Fallon, and St. Charles again. My wife taught at FHHS (Weldon Springs) for decades. I know this area as good as anyone. Beautiful place to live. Currently, I live in New Town, in extreme northern St. Charles city, and we love it.
Wow you've really gotten to know the whole area! New Town is super cool, I'm glad to hear you love it
Moved here five years ago and was going to move to Chesterfield, but realtor introduced us St Charles And the FHSD! Loved the area, less traffic, great schools… move to Cottleville area and loved it!
You're spot on with that! I'm so glad you've been enjyoing the area here!
I want to live in Cottleville Trails so badly and have been waiting for them to finally complete the grading. Hopefully they built that area up because it always flooded. Interesting the base model for the same house I built in Saint Charles is $300k more there (same builder). Average price for a house there would be $600-$700k, but with those 6% interest rates, ouch! Awesome neighborhood though especially with access to Frankie Martins!
I think the growth in St. Charles County has been to the detriment of West St. Louis County. I drove around in Ballwin recently and it seemed to me that some neighborhoods border on being "blighted". Houses in older areas are empty there and are in places where you wouldn't expect that.
Like your videos, you should do one of Dutchtown and South City
Absolutely - I have a video on St Louis hills scheduled that will probably be out sometime in the next couple months but can definitely do some more content on Dutchtown and other south city neighborhoods
@@LivingStLouis thanks man, you’re awesome!
@@jkeleshi I appreciate you for watching and giving feedback!!
Good video, coming from Kansas City I always kind of thought St. Charles as the hood, I didn’t realize how suburban it actually is
It's definitely changed a lot over the last 20 years!!
Crime in St Louis City is a major issue and needs to be resolved before the city will grow.
I believe growing the city will help with that issue, there’s bad apples in every group but I like to believe the majority of the population are (at the very least) decent people
Although my comfort zone a lot times is the hood. (You gotta stay close at least😂)
Can you do a video for rental apartments?
Do you only do buying or do you help with renting too?
We only help with buying & selling. Lots of rental options aren't in the MLS and it's difficult for us to be of service when renting. We typically recommend reaching out directly to the property manager of the building you're interested in, or contacting the owner or leasing agent for a listing you see online and they can help you out
