Jim im currently suffering with almost the same symptoms. Physio hasn’t helped nor X ray’s. So would definitely be interested in the outcome of all of this. Really hope you find out what the problem is and get some relief. I suffer most with sleep and have pins and needles in my right arm. It’s bloody weird & worrying. Anyways met you & Tod a few years back at twisted oaks mega day. Cheers bud
Feel for ya jibby, done some knee damage out in the mountains and learning to walk again. Been given physio and anti-inflammatory. Try to avoid taking them as much as possible and, when I do, make sure it's after doing physio cos I wanna feel what's going on in there. I don't have any medical qualifications or enough experience to suggest this to anyone else mind
Went here a few weeks back. Amazing place. It's probably not the best place to go for the first ride back in months. All i kept asking for was a e bike. Just to keep doing runs.
I used to get sciatica terribly (disk degeration on my back pressing on my nerve ) but was prescribed Amitriptyline tablets, never looked back maybe check if they could work for you worth a thought like . I also swear by deep heat and naproxen amongst other meds ,yep I rattle but hay got my life back .
I get you jim but I could barely walk jim extreme pain everyday ,no life,no job , so yes I take loads of meds everyday and have done for years I got to the point of I'd rather 10 years of working ,biking enjoying life ,than 20 years of living like that ,so I take them and am thankful every single day
in regards to your sciatica mate, i had it so bad last year that i couldn't walk, run, ride etc without being in agony. after buying a new bed and mattress (quite firm), not sleeping on my side or twisting the top half of my body while sleeping, just either flat on my back or front it's sorted. but what really worked wonders straight away was putting a couple of iron weights from one of my dumbells under the front of my armchair's legs which put me into a more curved position whilst seated. i've tried to replicate the same seating position in the car which has also helped. now my sciatica has gone completely, no meds or stretches needed. give it go, it might mean you won't need the meds anymore. 👍
@@PinnedTV have you ran the dominions?I’ve ran both sram and shimano but the hayes were something else. I’m 6.4 so if it can stop my big ass I’m happy 😆
@adamwright2477 no, but used the Trickstuff, which I thought nothing could out power, but the Mavens do! Putting some on mine, hope it’s not too much!!

Yeh I avoid any meds at all costs, rather go fix than mask a problem
@@PinnedTV it's a tough one cos theres a certain amount of stretching and rehab but, as you say, good to know what's going on in there

I’d always try alternative meds first, all them things aren’t the best for your body long term, but if I have to….

Hayes for the win 👌🏻
Half the power of those Mavens! They are good though to be fair

Try and get a set and do a comparison video vs the mavens would be really interesting
