I use Android Studyo. I open MainActivity on my phone in Device File Explorer. I changed name and age but there is no change in device.

data folder is not empty! You just do not have permissions to access the content.

you are using wrong AVD. Please, check another video how to use proper AVD to have an access to File Explorer :
