@@shenles There is a problem, but maybe I'm just doing something wrong, but after freezing frost and entering sento stance, the first hit 2 is just blocked by the opponent and because of that the combo is not executed
Tip That helped me. After summoning sento input 2, than pause briefly before starting kenshis 221 and it will time everything perfectly for sentos launcher 3. It was giving me trouble, so i hope this helps someone.

I noticed you can also trick the defender into thinking that you're not going to attack, but while having Sento attack for you. You just hold block and press either one of the 4 buttons (1, 2, 3 or 4). Prety much you can spam the buttons and Sento will attack for you and thats when you can come in whenever you want, helping Sento
If the ghost 2 hits are dropping you have to be really fast on the activation of sento. try to make sure you dont see kenshi crouch for the db1 input to make sure youre getting it out fast enough. There is a little leeway past that but not much. Also, when starting to 221 portion of the string I found it easy to watch the ghost and start the 221 string as soon as his second hits connects. then I get the 221 into 3 by just doing 221, then mashing 3. hope this helps.
There is a glitch with both sub zero and frost. After you freeze and call sento, when you use sento's 2. For some reason, the first swing will hit, than reset the combo as the second swinging is about to hit. Frequently happens with 1 4 into freeze but rarely with 2 2 into freeze
Nice, this is this the exact same combo that I came up with myself too when playing the beta.Once I realized the spirit can advance first with its attack then mine Kenshi became so much easier to play for me. Now I just need to learn how to play Sento stance without the spirit.
Opposite for me. I got him down without the stance during the stress test & beta. I couldn't figure out the ghost/Kenshi attack pattern, it sounds so simple here after the breakdown lol i was overthinking it
I'm saying this according to playstation buttons So once we enter the sento stance if we press triangle right after the down back square which are the buttons for entering sento stance. Santo attacks faster without us needing to hold the block button and once that is done the follow up of the combo doesn't need any hardwork you just do the normal input and according to an algorithm sento will attack as well which makes the combo easier and you don't need to press the block button to make sento attack alone ?
yup you got it NORMALLY pressing triangle would make both sento and kenshi attack at the same time but if either kenshi or sento are UNABLE to attack, whether thats because theyre in recovery, or already in the middle of an attack animation or whatever, then obviously they cant attack, and the one that can attack just attacks alone right after summoning sento, the spirit is ready to go before kenshi is so if you press triangle at that moment only the spirit will attack then since the spirit is attacking already, when you press the next part, well only kenshi will attack... anyways give it a try and let me know if you need more help
I just took Kenshi for the first time, I'm almost Semigod on Kombat League but i can't understand how the stance work, especially when is required to do 2,2,1 in to Sento 3, everytime i got 2,2,1 string but after the low, Sento 3 doesn't connect... any tip or explanation? Thanks a lot
I think of 221 3 as a single string and just input them all together but at the end of the day its just a timing thing and takes practice if you havent already be sure to check out my kenshi 101 playlist, the first video explains in more detail how sento actually works

if hes attacking with sento then youre pressing 2 too late you need to press 2 during that brief window where only sento will attack dont do anything else for now just practice entering sento stance and pressing 2 so only sento attacks
Bro, I really don't understand now. I need help. After r1 freeze and db1, 2 my enemy can sometimes block and other times don't. I fell like it's even random or the difference in milliseconds.
I now have a clip where I just literally come right in front of bot and first time he couldn't block second punch from 2 of my puppet and the second time I do exactly same thing but he actually blocks it, like wtf

hmm unfortunately its just a timing thing then I think of it as one string, 2213 but yeah if sento isnt even swinging then youre pressing 3 too early (before hes rdy to atk) and its missing then youre pressing too late if you have a way to record it and send it to me id be happy to take a look at it

@@Toreiwydhad the same problem. I noticed that I was starting 221 too early after 2,when I started using it like half a second after I started getting this combo. But I still struggle with perfect timing, I just spam 3 after 221, lol, but it works. Another problem is 3 timing after back down 3, spamming here doesn't help, so I miss it like 80% of the time.
I wish you would have told me that once the person gets frozen I can't just do my combo without the opponent blocking. I have to wait until the person is almost unfrozen to do my combo. Damn.
haha my bad. tbh I dont fully understand myself why the combo drops, but it hasnt been happening to me when i play online (not often enough for me to stop using the combo anyways)
@@shenlesyou know I figured it out. Once the spirit comes into play you hold forward and press triangle it works. Make sure you let people know because once they were frozen I press triangle button with the spirit and then they will just block and I'll get so angry like what's going on😮!!!
I’ve been having trouble with Kenshi combos recently, I can’t seem to land DB3 or DB4 after a launch. idk if they’ve changed Kenshi or something because I used to do a combo ending with a Sento launch, followed by 4, Down back 4 amplified to do the ancestor assist. But I literally cannot land it now, no matter how hard I try, nor can I land this combo. Any thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this?

Is it just me or are of the buttons different for PS? What was being said as X was triangle in the default set up for me just now. Not sure if I'm missing anything?
I keep dropping this combo, because for some gidly reason, the stand keeps dropping 2 after activating. Yeah, I'm serious. I even tried it outside of combos. Put bot on autoblock, summon stand, press 2 and he sonetimes drops on second hit. It's ONE button! How the hell do you drop ONE button? I don't understand.
no r1 necessary if ghost 2 -> f221 is dropping somewhere theres a spacing or timing issue practice at point blank range and dont rush, the window to convert should he quite generous
@@HellNutcase yeah I manage to do it consistent. Pull the stance, then hold R2 and press 2. Then F221 then 3 and the rest. There's a pretty big window if the spirit does 2 on its own. Make sure Kenshi doesn't move
yeah I'll probably drop a video today if youre okay with just number notation for now your starters are 141 21 f22 meterless i do starter bf3 dash s4 bf2 I like this combo for how easy and consistent it is. if you have fatal you can just do it at the end instead of bf2 there are more optimal routes but then you have to do different enders for each starter for like 1% more for 1bar I do starter ex bf3 j244 bf4 again you can get more but the 1bar routes are way easier to drop and the extra hits just mean your opp is more likely to have bar to break if you're interested in trying the higher dmg 1 bar is starter ex db2b dash s4 bf3 dash b2 bf2 edit: if you're not familiar with number notation you can tell me what platform youre on and ill put the buttons. but yeah video tonight probably
im struggling with the 4 db3. on the first kick its like i have to wait for the kick to be fully done before i can do the db3. but on your screen, it looks like you instantly do the db3 after the first kick. im a beginner so im not really sure what im doing wrong. great video tho
hard to say without seeing it is the 4 just not connecting? recommend focusing on just landing the 4 and then adding the rest oh. make sure youre not doing f221 3 too early f221 "launches" and the ghost 3 picks that up. if you do it too early you may not be giving kenshi enough time to recover to do the s4
what system are you playing on? troubleshooting something like this is a little hard via text only, if you want to hmu on discord id be happy to try and figure it out
unfortunately its just a timing thing at that point. as long as you can see id youre pressing too early or too late you can adjust if you want to record and send me your attempts i can help troubleshoot as well! I always say your preferred device is the best device
Hello! Great video but when i tried this today after the first stance hit (the first atatck the spirit does) the opponent cant block the second half of it? Is that normal?

you have a lot of time between the first 2 and 221 for 221 3 I think of it all as one string and just dial it all in at once lemme know if you still need help but unfortunately this may just boil down to practicing the timing

hes going to theres only a brief window when sento has recovered before kenshi does. practice doing sento stance and then pressing 2 so only the ghost attacks and kenshi does nothing. if kenshi is doing 2 as well then you need to press 2 earlier lemme know if you need help
yes. well i guess if you press TOO early then neither sento or kenshi will do anything anyways the point is you want to press 2 when sento is rdy but before kenshi is 👍

no problem. tbh a lot of ppl struggle with button -> special inputs and yes you do have to be quick, but also precise the first thing i want you to do is go to controller settings (in the game) and make sure RELEASE CHECK is turned off then try JUST doing 4 db3 and make sure youre comfortable doing that before trying it in the combo
if the combo counter resetting? if you have a way to record and send me the clip id be happy to take a look at it. alternatively set the ai to block type -> auto and itll block mid combo if your 2 221 isnt actually linking

i think some people have to use the kameo button to stop sento from moving that's the only way (i tried to do it without holdong kameo nearly a hundred times with no success)
ex db4 i prefer regular db4 ender because it sets up the same sandwhich position for the next mix but some combos require the sword throw, and it also does more damage
Ok, can anyone explain to me why the second 3 from sento doesnt always land? Ive tried timing it and cannot figure it out. This effectively ruins the best combo ender for Kenshi everytime i play him because I have like a 25% chance of landing that second pop up. Need help please!

can you do it without the combo? like just enter sento stance and practice s4 db3 pretty sure itll only come out if you do db3 during/after s4 actually hits. like if you dial in s4 db3 too fast before s4 even hits then db3 input will be lost
stop telling us both controls, just use one universal language with numbers and letters such as F1 or D2 cause its confusing and makes the video longer when you mention both xbox and ps5 controls
yeah I hear you. the earlier videos in this playlist have me mentioning both notations (and ive gotten mixed feedback naturally) youll find my later videos stick to universal notation or infact dont include the notation at all either way i get ppl who say I should do it the other way
good video just a suggestion to consider. Instead of constantly reminding us about the number notable system and reiterating ps4 and xbox buttons. SImply put a guide at the beginning of the video to save yourself some time.
yeah I might do that, or I'll find a way to overlay it or put it in the description tbc I normally just use universal, but I want these guides in particular to be newbie friendly so 🤷♂️

yeah theres this weird thing where if you sento TOO fast it doesnt combo. try delaying it a little bit and lemme know how that goes

Instead of doing 4 db3 do 4 2, it's easier and does more damage. Db4 requires the spirit to still be out idk if that's your issue.

im struggling with the 4 db3. on the first kick its like i have to wait for the kick to be fully done before i can do the db3. but on your screen, it looks like you instantly do the db3 after the first kick. im a beginner so im not really sure what im doing wrong. great video tho

is the 4 just not connecting? recommend focusing on just landing the 4 and then adding the rest
oh. make sure youre not doing f221 3 too early
f221 "launches" and the ghost 3 picks that up. if you do it too early you may not be giving kenshi enough time to recover to do the s4

Im struggling with how fast to enter the buttons also would a fight pad make things easier
unfortunately its just a timing thing at that point. as long as you can see id youre pressing too early or too late you can adjust

Hello! Great video but when i tried this today after the first stance hit (the first atatck the spirit does) the opponent cant block the second half of it? Is that normal?
can or cant? go to practice mode and set ai block to "auto" they will block anything after the first hit if its not a true combo
@@shenlesthank u so much i figured it out, if u like dont hit in time ur opponent(while they are frozen from frost) there is like a millesecond window where they cant block! But otherwise thank u for the videos and the extremely fast replies!

oh I was trying it I got it like twice but when I did 3db3 it seem a bit easier for me
3 db3 is totally valid. slightly less dmg, but slightly less dmg is much better then a dropped combo

you have a lot of time between the first 2 and 221
for 221 3 I think of it all as one string and just dial it all in at once

No matter how many times i hold forward. Kenshi sitll moves with the sento

theres only a brief window when sento has recovered before kenshi does. practice doing sento stance and then pressing 2 so only the ghost attacks and kenshi does nothing. if kenshi is doing 2 as well then you need to press 2 earlier

yes. well i guess if you press TOO early then neither sento or kenshi will do anything
anyways the point is you want to press 2 when sento is rdy but before kenshi is 👍

no problem. tbh a lot of ppl struggle with button -> special inputs
and yes you do have to be quick, but also precise
the first thing i want you to do is go to controller settings (in the game) and make sure RELEASE CHECK is turned off
then try JUST doing 4 db3 and make sure youre comfortable doing that before trying it in the combo

@@shenles I got it shortly after comment I find it easier to do the sento 2 and delay the 221 makes hitting the sento 3 afterwords pretty easy

maybe try entering sento stance and just practicing s4 db3 for starters, then trying the full combo
i think some people have to use the kameo button to stop sento from moving that's the only way (i tried to do it without holdong kameo nearly a hundred times with no success)

how do you throw kenshis sword in sento stance?

i prefer regular db4 ender because it sets up the same sandwhich position for the next mix
but some combos require the sword throw, and it also does more damage
Ok, can anyone explain to me why the second 3 from sento doesnt always land? Ive tried timing it and cannot figure it out. This effectively ruins the best combo ender for Kenshi everytime i play him because I have like a 25% chance of landing that second pop up. Need help please!
Did you find out the problem? It's a super small timing gap when you press 2 and sentos 3 having a small range. Have to delay the 3 for half a second

Found that doing 4 2 instead of 4 db3 does more damage, and it's easier
yeah ive tried like 50 times and i can't get 4 db3 to come out even once

like just enter sento stance and practice s4 db3
pretty sure itll only come out if you do db3 during/after s4 actually hits. like if you dial in s4 db3 too fast before s4 even hits then db3 input will be lost

stop telling us both controls, just use one universal language with numbers and letters such as F1 or D2 cause its confusing and makes the video longer when you mention both xbox and ps5 controls
yeah I hear you. the earlier videos in this playlist have me mentioning both notations (and ive gotten mixed feedback naturally)
youll find my later videos stick to universal notation or infact dont include the notation at all

good video just a suggestion to consider. Instead of constantly reminding us about the number notable system and reiterating ps4 and xbox buttons. SImply put a guide at the beginning of the video to save yourself some time.

but again release check is the main thing
sento stance 3 is always mad late
can you try pressing it earlier? remember sento is probably already recovered and waiting for your input

try dialing in 221 quick so when you press 1 sento is still recovering and will ignore that input
