- From Season 8 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 6: Inside Donald Duck which originally aired on November 5th, 1961. Walt Disney calls on Ludwig Von Drake for a diagnosis on Donald, who has cracked up. After first thinking that Walt Disney is the patient, Von Drake attempts to psychoanalyze Donald's problems, deciding that the cause is romance for the opposite sex. He has Donald come over to his office and hypnotizes him to get to the root of this problem. For this upload I used the Wonderful World of Color opening and inserted part of Walt Disney's original lead-in, unfortunately, I don't have the entire segment. To bridge some of the gaps I used some of the 1986 Disney Channel re-airing footage. There are many differences in the 1986 re-airing and I'll upload that at a later time. Edited out due to copyright are the following shorts: Donald's Crime (Walt Disney Treasures DVD: The Chronological Donald, Vol. 2), Drip Drippy Donald (Walt Disney Treasures DVD: The Chronological Donald, Vol. 3), Donald's Dream Voice (Walt Disney Treasures DVD: The Chronological Donald, Vol. 3), Donald's Double Trouble (Walt Disney Treasures DVD: The Chronological Donald, Vol. 2), Donald's Dillema (Walt Disney Treasures DVD: The Chronological Donald, Vol. 3) and Cured Duck (Walt Disney Treasures DVD: The Chronological Donald, Vol. 2).
I've been looking for this for years! Thank you for posting.
In Late 1980s Von Drake is part of the Disneyland Video show
Absolutely fantastic family fun cartoon.. simply wonderful love all of Walt Disney's legacy many thanks love from me too you all xx
The closing credits are clearly from a 1970s era rerun (used for Disney Channel's airing), as it uses an instrumental version of The New Mouseketeers cover of "Walkin' the Dog" (from the short lived "New Mickey Mouse Club")
Yes, I stated that I added some material from a Disney channel re-airing.
@@keepingwaltindisney Cool.

Missed you, man!!!! Thanks!
@@keepingwaltindisney Mmm-Hmm
Seeing Walt Disney be hypnotized by one of his own characters. This is really funny.
9:59 “And if this is living, you’re better off dead.” 💥
Wait a minute it’s in California I don’t think I haven’t been there a long ago
Ludwig Von Drake's nephew Donald Duck.
I have seen it, sweet.
6:16-6:18-6:20-6:38 OMG, Now i've realized that those animations were reused from Donald's Double Trouble!
How educational this is.
He's cured...until he sees the bill.
🦆🦆Thank you 🦆🦆🥰
4:45 I almost forgot that this animation is also reused from Hello Aloha.

Donald Duck:Well? There's one little thing. I do have a slight temper.
Ludwig von Drake: What's that? I can't understand the word you say!
Donald Duck:I SAID I HAVE A TEMPER, DOGGONE IT!! Don't you understand English?
This gets me everytime 😂
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu 😍😍😍😍😍
Nice 😃
was there more with the Walt and Ludwig bit or was that about it?
If you read my description I mention that it’s only a part of the entire lead-in.
@@keepingwaltindisney I must have misread or forgot…. My bad >~
@mejokallamthanam1348 Yeah, where?
I thought it was going to be a part where Walt Disney told Professor Ludwing Von Drake that he’s not the problem, Donald Duck is because he’s having trouble with his girlfriend Daisy Duck.
My favorite along with the rich uncle.
Should there be a part where Walt Disney tell Professor Ludwing Von Drake that he’s not the problem, Donald Duck is because he’s having trouble with his girlfriend, Daisy Duck?
Anyone got anything to say about this? Anybody?

some things haven't aged well
@@renatashp Like what, specifically? I try not to view these episodes with 21st century glasses.

The animation is amazing! But let's be honest, from the beginning it already has several sexist and misogynistic connotations. There is no one woman for every man, just as there is no one man for every woman. A woman does not waste her time trying to win over a guy.
I understand that was the way they saw things at the time, but that doesn't mean it's right. Look, just because homophobia, racism and sexism were common back then doesn't mean they were right, it just shows how ignorant they were, thank goodness we are evolving more and more for the better.
Now animation is wonderful and it's something I miss, after all, today's animations no longer have that glamour or technical ability, only passionate students seek to evolve in this.
Well, that's my argument, you might not agree, but that's okay, after all I'm happy that nowadays we are more aware of these social problems and that we are changing
and I'm glad you're posting these videos, so we can have a piece of history and have detailed material to study animation. .
