You just saved me money my friend, I almost went paying 100 euros to fix it. At the last moment I decided to watch some videos maybe I could fix it myself and turned out I just needed to open the key fob and clean it. Thank you so much man
Thanks for the video. I had exact same problem and RAC man said it was steering column. I haven’t had steering column changed as it only happened once.
Either that or an alternative method I found the “Hard copy” fob which I hope many still have access to if still having this problem. It registered and let me turn ignition even though with other fob it wasn’t working. But with the hard copy it did! God did 🙏😁. Was trying for 3 days to get it back operational, happy to say it now is 🙏! Just got it back started this morning with the “Hard copy” key fob
Just programmed a spear key after all went successfully original stopped. And spear was not operating. Couldn't figure out what was the issue until someone else removed the EIS. and car back to normal. Still they didn't let me know what they did! I believe they reprogrammed the original.
Can anti theft system can be triggered by trying to remove radio without tools, now my car wont keep running for more than half second. How do i fix that?
Can someone link me to a video of how to take out the circuit board. I’ve gotten everything else out but I can’t figure out how to take out the circuit board. I can’t find any videos either
Remove the battery holder then you should see a white band of plastic covering the circuit board. This is holds the board in place - slide a small flat screwdriver in between the plastic case and circuit board area to make some space to be able to slide in a folded out paper clip. The paper clip needs to be formed to have a small hook at the end and what you need to do is hook it under the white plastic so you can pull - this releases the plastic and you can then slide out the board.
From the looks of it he opened the key fob, took the circuit board out, and tapped the plastic housing on the table to release the built up lint in the key fob. Put it back together then try the key again. Hope this helps!
@@felipefernandes2045 I fixed mine, it was my key, a circuit had came off, and the panic button, I ended up soldering them back on, and it worked with no issues ever since

Remove emergency key from top of fob, then use pry end to insert into slot, pry with upward motion, then pull out to reveal the 2 batteries

Pop the metal shank out if you look inside where the shank goes you’ll see a second hole just stick the shank in there and pry
