Love a parent who respects their child and tells them the truth even when its difficult and scary
You have to tell the truth to kids as their imagination makes it worse. If you let them know in an age appropriate language it helps them process their feelings. At the end of the day not telling them can lead to such negative behaviour

I can't take Noah growing up. He's so handsome and I'm glad they included this, what's kept SVU going g si mong is how they give each detective a personal life. It's almost like a documentary into the (WHAT'S HAPPENING) of real officers or something.

This hits me hard. To be honest, I love episodes that Mariska's directing debut. This is so sweet. I love this duo of Olivia & Noah. I can't wait for season 26. I know I keep saying this. But we've seen Michelle Gomez & Laura Gomez in SVU. Please, don't judge me but I really want to see Selena Gomez.

I don't get the 25th (no TV) season but I appreciate that you included this topic because Noah is a great kid and deserves to know the truth, as only Olivia can tell it....with a gentle loving demeanor. This brief clip tells me it's time to order the 25th season, the only one I don't own......yet!

I really wish that they would go back to the end of this episode after she mentions Ellie, and continues telling the story from there, and have a sort of real "Olivia talks to Noah about his life so far" episode. Give him the full story the audience already knows, and make it a clip-show episode and then have it end on Olivia getting a call from Fin or sometime in the precinct about a case. Or maybe, to not make it a full clip-show episode, have some A-Plot of "case of the week" and B-plot of "Olivia continues telling Noah the story" mix & match going on.
I doubt SVU would ever do it, they've never really been a "clip show" type of show, and I know this ending implies the episode fades out on Noah finally learning everything about Johnny D, Ellie, and how he was adopted -- but I'd still love to see an episode where he finally has that full conversation with Olivia.

I like how this story has come around now, to this calm moment . With all the terror and horror of the previous stories this was a peaceful and reassuring and beautiful moment between Olivia and Noah Mother and son ❤
Also loved Creasey being shocked how dangerous it is for his children. Well, he knew that already, but it was really close to home with Olivia and Noah

Wowwwww Noah is so grown up! Soon enough he will be in high school, we will see how he does, navigating teenage life, and Olivia will be where Elliot was two decades ago.
But this time, I think Noah is gonna be just fine, because he has a great, honest and stable mother who has shown him how to be the best he can be. The moment he casually came out as bi in a story about him telling off a bully told me he was a kid who could stand up for what’s right and stay on the right path.
I am so glad she told him the truth. It might be hard to handle, but now that he knows, she and him can talk about how to process this.
It’s always better if they hear it from you. Someone told my cousin(who was about two when her mom married her stepfather)that her dad wasn’t her dad, she was completely shocked. 🤦🏾♀️

I loved to watch this series every single day. But with the time i felt so sad... something bothered me. Weeks after, i found out that i'm a victim of abuse. What always bothered me were inconsciuos memories about happened to me. Today i thank imensaly all team of writers, producers, actors, all people envolved in this serie that allowed me remebered and to cure what always hurt me. Hugs
Ryan has really grown up! I hope they introduce a younger brother to the cast to give him a sibling that the character Olivia can also "adopt". I can picture him being played by a dress designer named Max who is only 9 years old in real life. The character's name is Nicholas Benson.

@@nave712well Olivia did have Calvin for a short time but he was taken away to live with his paternal grandparents in Vermont. Olivia adopted Noah as a baby because he had no other family then.

I know I saw some people disappointed in how she almost like, immediately bolts when he first asks, but there's so many layers to this. Yes, it's telling her son about how his father was awful, but it's another layer of terrifying for Olivia when it was the same for her. Not to mention her mother handled it extremely poorly.

I kinda want to see Nick and Noah talk and Nick trying to apologise to Noah since it was Nick who ended Johnny D, then Noah saying he did the right thing and his only regret about that was not getting the chance to spit in Johnny’s face

True but at the same time he has good supportive uncles like Finn and caresi and in my personal experience as my dad was not in my life growing up but my mom's younger brother and my dad's younger brother spent time and visited me all the time they taught me how to get ready for my first date how to shave how to do a tie how to work on a car how to drive tell me how to fish and survive in the wild, so having an uncle who loves you and wants the best for you is better than nothing
WHY? There's nothing wrong with being adopted by a single parent! A single parent means there's no spouse to fight with constantly!!!!

Olivia is doing a good job as a single mother to Noah despite her job. She was the one that went to the hearings about him , Judge Linden asks her if she wanted to adopt Noah as a baby so he wouldn’t go back to foster care.

No. Olivia wasn’t never married but she has been dating. Noah isn’t her biological son . She adopted him as a baby because no other family member showed up. Both of Noah biological parents are dead ( rewatch season 15) in season 19 Noah biological grandmother Sheila ( Ellie mom) showed up & kidnapped him & got arrested. Noah found out his half brother Connor who was adopted by a couple . Johnny Drake other son. Noah belongs with Olivia. #Benoah

Noah is Olivia son she adopted when he was a baby after his biological parents were killed & after that happened, Judge gave Olivia custody of Noah & she adopted him in the season 15 finale. His name is Noah Porter Benson
