on last drawn salary, he said 1 cr to 1.7/1.8 cr. how can there be ao much variance? assuming he was not telling lies and earning around 1.3 cr annually in taiwan, its peanuts for an iit mumbai graduate. taiwan is approx 3.3 times costlier than india so his corresponding salary in india would be about 40 lakhs which is below average for an ex iitian with 10 yrs experience. why would i take any advice from him?
Mckinse Associate Partner salary abroad is easily 4-5 Cr INR as per glassdoor. Either he is hiding real number, or only telling his base salary maybe. Any way, what a sorted fellow!

How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
