Rural Roads through Florida: Jacksonville to Micanopy

Let's make our own path and cut a diagonal path across the middle of northern Florida! We'll begin on Interstate 295 in the Jacksonville area, and follow State Road 21, State Road 26, US 301, State Road 20, and County Route 234 for the drive across rural Florida, ending at the quaint and history-filled town of Micanopy.
I made this trip around Labor Day 2023.

Years ago I had a friend take me for a ride on his motorcycle from Jacksonville to Micanopy. I'm sure we took mostly back roads but some of it must have been the same. Of course I was limited on what I saw as I was holding on for dear life as is said. 🙂
