BMW reached perfection with the m6 Gran coupé. Specially with this facelifted 600hp final version. I would choose It over the M8 or gt63 AMG any day Greetings from Spain!!
Man your M6 is so hot. I just can't get over the new 8 series grill, very disappointing, I don't like the pointy edges... It's like the grill is smiling. It's not aggressive enough. M6 is one of the most beautiful cars I ever laid eyes on.
@@letsrollout7307 I have a 640i because I'm just to afraid of the maintenance cost of the M6, but man even the 640i (which I moded a little to look like the M6) just looks so damn beautiful. In my opinion y series is just so much better looking than the 8.....the only thing that looks better than the 6 is the i8. But again that is just my opinion.

Between the two Elton...I would keep the M6. The rear roofline and window treatment is not as sporty on the 8. I do like that the rear taillights are slimmer, but that element is countered by the heavier looking grille. That new grille design language looks ok on the X5 and X7 but not on something that is supposed to be sleeker, sportier and more athletic. Slap that grille on a 7-series and replace the iron gates that say "Lincoln" more than BMW.

Finally a video comparing the two! Can’t believe there aren’t more. Previous f10 owner and just picked up a 2016 640i GC m sport. Absolutely in love. Glacier silver metallic on the red vermillion interior. Will probably have the same debate here in a few years on getting an 8 series. Awesome video man keep up the content!!
LET'S ROLL OUT just watched your head to head. Had a feeling you would choose your M6 and I’m glad you did! 6 is so special, perfect blend of classic BMW feel, luxury, sportiness, and most importantly how UNIQUE it is. The 8 is amazing as well no doubt about it, but doesn’t have that the same satisfying flavor the 6 offers. Atleast not worth the heftier price tag in my opinion.
The 850 looks nice, but the m6 looks nicer, more balanced. You can upgrade the infotainment to NBT Evo and have most of the cool stuff of the newer model in the M6. If you want digital cluster you can upgrade to 6WB.
The six series exterior body lines are better and oh how that asymmetrical dash layout on the interior... with that sexy swoop from center console to dash... like a woman’s off the should dress. So here the deal. Exterior hands down goes to to the six...( yes except for the ass)... Interior now goes to the eight. I think the seating position is better... With both my 640 GC and 650 Convertible now both lease returned... I’m taking a break before the next vehicle... But might need to go with the LC500.

Hi mate, I think the M6 hands down. If you put a boot lip and an aggressive rear diffuser like the Vorsteiner it will give a much more aggressive appearance.

Really for the power that's dame good to me. Hwy I get 10.1 to 10.4 L per 100km. Which engine is in your C Class???
As a"manual" M6 Gran Coupe owner, I love the M6. But I'll admit that the interior on the new 8series is way nicer. But the side profile & front of the M6 Gran Coupe is nicer imo. The rears are both nice & I'd call it a tie. So unless you want/need AWD, I'd keep the M6.

The perfect curves all around, the front part is with the M package bumper looks even more complete! M8 might be more high tech, but I wouldn't be offended if you would offer me the M6. 🤭🤭😄

I was thinking I might have the same dilemma, but, having driven a few 2020's (not an 8, admittedly), I have to say that you absolutely nailed it with your comment on the interior - the M6 maybe the best BMW has ever produced. I used to be into the digital gauges, but the M6 is so tidy - like looking at a Breitling v's an iWatch. Center console comments are on point too - perfect flow. I think I like both exteriors equally, but the interior of the M6 is so good, I can't see me trading mine for the M8. Great vid.

This is difficult. I would chop off pieces of both , unrealistic I know oh well. I love the interior of the M6 and the exterior of the 850. I would say get them both, use the 850 as your day to day car and the M6 on the weekends.
Like your style, man-great video. I like a lot of the new 8-series stuff but IMO it’s not remotely worth more than double the price vs a used M6. I’d get a well-kept M6 and a good warranty vs a new 8-series... can always upgrade to the 8 in a few years; depreciation will be brutal.

I like your M6 better. Of course I would tune it but that’s me. I saw the M8 at the car show yesterday and it’s alright. I would get a AMG GT63s instead.
The AMG GTS is a dame sexy car. Looks and sounds like a beast. My issues with a tune is that there's no guarantees when it comes to damages. These cars are not cheap to fix 😪😪😪. Thanks for commenting Chris Wong 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Styling: You're wrong. Hands down. The 8-series looks more like a Japanese wannabee. The 6-series is more unique in styling. The gages of the M850i are 100% electronic. An ///M should be pure and have real gages. An ///M is a car to drive. All electronics is of non-importance. Actually, I had an E46 ///M3 and traded it for an F ///M6. The M6 is nice, but as a real driving car? Go for the E46!!

I had both cars and there's only 1 reason that would make me choose a 650xi over and M6 and that is the all wheel drive. The sunroof brings light in but it doesn't open . Take a look at it . @@letsrollout7307 I did and I saw the one pairing it with the Benz. The 650i can be tuned to pump out 600hp pretty easily and its less money overall than the M6 as well. The roof vents at the very least correct? I like to loook up & out so its still a plus. But that M6 is just such a beast. LOL 1st world problems right!?

I love cars what can I say . A friend of mine has his 650xi tuned to 600HP and he loves it . Great cars . I wasn't talking about the comparo show btw. The title is exactly as I stated in my last comment . It talks about the run flats. Transfer case. Seat issues . Seat belt issues . Jus some of the things and transmission malfunction . It's worth it if your considering the 650xi.
I’m late to the party. I just upgraded my 640i GC to M850i GC. Obviously the power is not a great comparison. That being said, I loved my 6GC aesthetically. But, it aged out. The 8GC is just newer, sharper, and better.
Congrats Montano. The 6 is a timeless piece. Intruduced in 2012 and it still commands attention. For the time that had the 850i , very few people looked at it. But I still respect your choice n opinion . Is your 850i the gran coupe Montano? 😉😉😉🙂🙂
I just drove an 840i drop top. Nice and cosseting, great if you wear a business shirt & tie . I then test drove a 2017 M6 . Chalk n cheese as we say in the uk. Deposit paid on the M6 grand coupe. Anyway, who wants to be monitored by your car incase it catches you feeling drowsy?! I guess if M cars are now that dull , then maybe its a good idea!!

All new cars have to meet new emission regulations/noise regulations (eu), unfortunate by product of that is exhaust note/volume decreases. BMW’s answer is active sound which is simulated/artificial. AMG’s version is better, pure performance sound takes the real sound from the exhaust system amplifies it and pipes it into the cabin giving a more realistic sound.

If you really can't hold out.. I mean go for it. But the m6 still is nothing to wiff at. Tremendous vehicle and value. I'm a bimmer kinda guy as well, but for the money in terms of leveling up to the m8, merc is doing amazing things on the second hand market. Proper amg going for 10's of k less than the m8
I hear ya Densel. But BMW' is the way. Merc is great but it isolates you too much I find. BMW is more raw. It lets you feel whats happening and to me that's one of the characters that makes it great great. Thanks for the input though Densel. Love it💗💗👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

Finally a video comparing the two! Can’t believe there aren’t more. Previous f10 owner and just picked up a 2016 640i GC m sport. Absolutely in love. Glacier silver metallic on the red vermillion interior. Will probably have the same debate here in a few years on getting an 8 series. Awesome video man keep up the content!!

Had a feeling you would choose your M6 and I’m glad you did! 6 is so special, perfect blend of classic BMW feel, luxury, sportiness, and most importantly how UNIQUE it is. The 8 is amazing as well no doubt about it, but doesn’t have that the same satisfying flavor the 6 offers. Atleast not worth the heftier price tag in my opinion.

The 850 looks nice, but the m6 looks nicer, more balanced. You can upgrade the infotainment to NBT Evo and have most of the cool stuff of the newer model in the M6. If you want digital cluster you can upgrade to 6WB.

The six series exterior body lines are better and oh how that asymmetrical dash layout on the interior... with that sexy swoop from center console to dash... like a woman’s off the should dress.

Hi mate, I think the M6 hands down. If you put a boot lip and an aggressive rear diffuser like the Vorsteiner it will give a much more aggressive appearance.

As a"manual" M6 Gran Coupe owner, I love the M6. But I'll admit that the interior on the new 8series is way nicer. But the side profile & front of the M6 Gran Coupe is nicer imo. The rears are both nice & I'd call it a tie. So unless you want/need AWD, I'd keep the M6.
Btw, I 100% agree with you on the sunroof.

Well here's my opinion.. M8 is so slick, aggressive looking, elegant and also finesse too! But to me, that M6 is just marvelous! Absolutely stunning! The perfect curves all around, the front part is with the M package bumper looks even more complete! M8 might be more high tech, but I wouldn't be offended if you would offer me the M6. 🤭🤭😄

I was thinking I might have the same dilemma, but, having driven a few 2020's (not an 8, admittedly), I have to say that you absolutely nailed it with your comment on the interior - the M6 maybe the best BMW has ever produced. I used to be into the digital gauges, but the M6 is so tidy - like looking at a Breitling v's an iWatch. Center console comments are on point too - perfect flow. I think I like both exteriors equally, but the interior of the M6 is so good, I can't see me trading mine for the M8. Great vid.

Like your style, man-great video. I like a lot of the new 8-series stuff but IMO it’s not remotely worth more than double the price vs a used M6. I’d get a well-kept M6 and a good warranty vs a new 8-series... can always upgrade to the 8 in a few years; depreciation will be brutal.

I like your M6 better. Of course I would tune it but that’s me. I saw the M8 at the car show yesterday and it’s alright. I would get a AMG GT63s instead.

Styling: You're wrong. Hands down. The 8-series looks more like a Japanese wannabee. The 6-series is more unique in styling.
The gages of the M850i are 100% electronic. An ///M should be pure and have real gages. An ///M is a car to drive. All electronics is of non-importance.
Actually, I had an E46 ///M3 and traded it for an F ///M6. The M6 is nice, but as a real driving car? Go for the E46!!

I had both cars and there's only 1 reason that would make me choose a 650xi over and M6 and that is the all wheel drive. The sunroof brings light in but it doesn't open . Take a look at it . The title is exactly as I stated in my last comment . It talks about the run flats. Transfer case. Seat issues . Seat belt issues . Jus some of the things and transmission malfunction . It's worth it if your considering the 650xi.
But I would take the run flats off etc...the m 6 has the interior

I’m late to the party. I just upgraded my 640i GC to M850i GC. Obviously the power is not a great comparison. That being said, I loved my 6GC aesthetically. But, it aged out. The 8GC is just newer, sharper, and better.
Congrats Montano. The 6 is a timeless piece. Intruduced in 2012 and it still commands attention. For the time that had the 850i , very few people looked at it. But I still respect your choice n opinion . Is your 850i the gran coupe Montano? 😉😉😉🙂🙂

I just drove an 840i drop top. Nice and cosseting, great if you wear a business shirt & tie . I then test drove a 2017 M6 . Chalk n cheese as we say in the uk. Deposit paid on the M6 grand coupe.

Is it true that the 6 series plays sound from the cabin of a exhaust
All modern BMW's pipe engine sounds into the cabin. Also alot of companies are doing the same as well .
All new cars have to meet new emission regulations/noise regulations (eu), unfortunate by product of that is exhaust note/volume decreases. BMW’s answer is active sound which is simulated/artificial. AMG’s version is better, pure performance sound takes the real sound from the exhaust system amplifies it and pipes it into the cabin giving a more realistic sound.

I'm a bimmer kinda guy as well, but for the money in terms of leveling up to the m8, merc is doing amazing things on the second hand market. Proper amg going for 10's of k less than the m8
I hear ya Densel. But BMW' is the way. Merc is great but it isolates you too much I find. BMW is more raw. It lets you feel whats happening and to me that's one of the characters that makes it great great. Thanks for the input though Densel. Love it💗💗👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
