Good tip. I'll have to see if I can find boxes like that in the store. The battery packs are such that when you take out a couple of batteries, the rest of the batteries will eventually be found somewhere at the bottom of the box. Once I accidentally put an 18650 battery in the pocket where the keys were. Big mistake. I wondered what was smelling here. I got up from the bench and my pocket felt hot. I quickly took the things out of my pockets and there was a battery, which was hot and bubbling dark foam out of the insides. Fortunately, nothing happened. Lithium batteries can be dangerous if stored incorrectly.
Battery storage and safety is necessary if you really want to be able to use them when you need them. I still use these boxes all the time. I use old bicycle tire tubes to put 18650's in when they go in my pack. I get all my 18650's from old laptop battery packs so I have many on hand. Mike.
cool I see those MCM cases on sale / closeout from time to time, I do not use mine much except as loading trays but getting some cheap for batteries is a good idea

The worthiness of this idea was SHARED like a wee rainstorm amongst friends. It might clear up any stagnant cobwebs that we at times permit to pile up. On another note, there are wee 50cc plastic containers which have 3 nozzle types. One is a metal tip with a oblong stopper. Poifect for point lubrications if NOT needing a spray method. Metinks they were only $0.25 apiece postpaid free. A portable cleaning kit selection is comprised of several liquids. Alcohol. Paint thinner. Acetone. Lacquer thinner. And CLP and selected lubes. It’s been a few months now and they haven’t leaked. A printed folding box to hold em would be nice. Something not easily crushed. Still am figuring out a holder for the wee bottles. They were found on Amazon.
