I often times find my devices drain one battery and leave one or more charged. So in the past I would throw them all away thinking they were all bad. Having this battery tester has saved me lots of batteries and money
Dude, THIS was a *MUST HAVE* as I come across so many batteries that corrode because of touching one another & other items in the drawer. No matter how well I organize. Ordered one up. Thanx a ton for this one. Saved me a small fortune from throwing batts away.
worse yet, a 9v stored uncovered in a drawer could arc if both nodes touch metal - this could actually start a fire in your battery drawer and burn your house down
To be honest i thought it was gonna be like 50$, overpriced as things on this channel are. But 20$? That's well priced, i mean, you can't even buy empty toolbox or ammo box for much less than that. I wouldn't carry this thing around since it doesn't look that robust as toolbox or ammo box, but it's perfect for putting it somewhere on shelf.
@That Dude Right. It's a $5.00 unit but it works well enough to know which batteries to toss. You just have to make sure the terminals are lined up just so to get that indication.
Bought this to help organize my batteries. To be honest, I'm impressed. It seems to be a good little box. Definitely better than having them in the box I used to have them in.
Just yesterday I was fumbling and frustrated with my broken cardboard box holding all of our batteries. I think it was destiny that I saw your video, lol. I ordered one before your video was finished. THANKS!
I am so glad i got my Battery Daddy at Walgreens in a town i visited in Ottawa, IL. and purchased one. I had no idea how lucky that was. The only other place I seen them advertised was Publishers Clearing House. I like the battery tester. They have two versions of this handy Battery storage container.
So cool, I found this just before Christmas and bought one. Now I’m noticing the ad on TV and now a Sootch00 endorsement. I needed a battery tester and the case is a super plus. Now I just need a case for firearm accessory related batteries (2032, CR2, CR123A, etc)
I've spent years weeding out almost all my Cs and Ds, I'm almost entirely AAA and CR123 and 2032 cells. I store in MTM plastic cans, and I have a cheap multimeter in the one that holds the majority and would be snatched if bugging out (same shelves hold ammo, spare IFAKs and medical components.)
I noticed this video was launched two months ago. And last year in January of 2020 I saw the Battery Daddy at Walgreens. Deffinately a Must Have. Drawers and junk boxes full of mixed batteries new and used ones. Now having a handier way to sort them and store them and had no idea how glad I was to find one at a Walgreens. Amazon is great. But I still like to support my brick and morter family when I can. The piece of mind being able to handle the product before I buy it. And removing the shipper from the equation. Great video by the way. Appreciate you for sharing your prepping skills and training. Sharpening my own skills from your videos in what I want to include in my own go bag that I have not thought of and learning how to minimize the load I carry on my back.
I bought a smaller one about a month ago and I love it. You don’t have to be a prepper to want one. I just want my batteries all organized in one place.
These are great! They have two sizes. I bought one last year at Home Depot, the 180 size. I love it, but it was quite heavy once filled up. So this year HD had the smaller 150 size on sale so I bought that one too and I keep the newest batteries in the 180 for long term storage and the older ones I am using first in the 150 case which is lighter in weight. I buy my AAs in 48 packs when BJs has coupons so it good to have both so I have plenty of space for bulk purchases. Home Depot sells these for the holiday season in the store. I love that all my batteries are in one place. A must have!
Ive got that "battery daddy". My father gave me it around Oct. 2020. Its Awesome!!!!!! They have them at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Wal-Mart, Wal-Greens. It gets heavy quick, though.
I just got the battery daddy for Christmas. The only thing I wish it had was a spot for a couple small screwdrivers. As a dad I always need those for my sons toys
Thanks for this review. I've seen the ads on TV but am always skeptical of them! My wife has a drawer full of batteries so I think I'll get one for her. As an aside, several times in the video you called the tester a charger! 😁
We were going to buy these as Christmas gifts, too! One for us, and then for each kids family. Found that Bed, Bath & Beyond had them (Then they have those 20% off coupons!). But they had sold out before Christmas! These are a great idea, for consolidating all those batteries. We have been using a Plano brand, fishing tackle box. Which works good, and is very durable. But just does not hold as much as the Baby Daddy does!
Since recently I'm a home owner and I have a lot of stuff that needs organizing, so I've been buying organizing storage containers for all kinds of things, and I certainly need this, stocked up with batteries too, currenly have mine all in a drawer occupying too much space. Regarding the specialized battery types, I wouldn't mind having them in a different case, and maybe this time with a charger instead of a tester, and I'm, also currently searching for a separate button cell battery organizer that holds all different types of Button cell batteries.
We bought one similar to this that fits in a drawer. We like it a lot. It doesn't hold as much as this one, but it's great not having to rummage through the drawer.
Great video, thanks for posting! Just checked and they’re available and in stock at most Walgreens. Going to pick one up tomorrow and reclaim some desk drawer space.
That is huge. I have a smaller version of a different brand that also includes a tester, but no handle. I do like the handle. If this were 50/60% the size of the one you show it would be perfect for my needs. Great review as always. Thanks.
I bought several of these for friends and relatives. I love it. This great nation is and has been going to crap and going to need a commodities like batteries when the Sugar Honey Ice Tea hits the fan!!! BJ’s Wholesale has Battery Daddy @ $14.99. I hope this helps because I put the CR 2025 & 2032’s in the cell storage compartment.
I've been following your channel for some time now, & I always gain info from your videos. I just purchased a battery daddy thanks to your in detail review. 👍🔋 🔋
Just saw you featured in another video on "Top Trending" channel the video was called 10 inventions changing the world. You were at 6:37 with Life Straw. That channel has 5 million subscribers, congratulations.
Transitioning all my batteries to Li-ion due to the leakage I've experienced too many times, often ruining the component they were in. I bought a case of multiple Ni-mH AA's and AAA's a few years ago, and just sitting in the packaging I noticed many that were already leaking! Also, there is not a lot of equipment that seems to use the 'C' or 'D' size anymore.
I got a similar product for myself for christmas but the extra AA storage on the back would be nice to have. Wish I have known about this 2 months ago.
Thanks Don. I have been using the Milwaukee double-sided cases typically used for screws, nuts, small parts, etc. I like the Battery Caddie because it's purpose built. I have so many batteries that my biggest concern is expiration. 10 year battery life or not, even half that is quite the diminishment. 1st world problems, lol. Thanks brother.
"WOW"!!!! Just finished watching this video and bingo went to our local store "Warehouse"NZ and got exactly the same one for NZ $29...unloading the batteries into this as I type this...Thanking you SensiblePrepper...:-)
OMG a friend gave me one of those. Don't know where he got it and the only use I've had for it is under my computer keyboard when I want to stand while doing an amateur radio contest. (Standing helps keep you awake and going!)
I have 2 of them. I picked up one at a “as seen on TV type store, the other at Fred Meyer,(Kroger), store. So look around before you pay for shipping. I saw one for 14.00 in a scratch and dent section at a TJ Max. So they are available in stores. I have way more shelf room now that my batteries have a home, and I can check my inventory at a glance.
I've seen these on various internet ads but was always cautious because they looked almost too good to be true (ie Chinese made and cheap). Thanks for this review. Gonna grab one!
Got this today at a local store for 5 dollars I was thinking about buying it at costco but my local Costco didn't have it and it was only for online order glad I waited
Hate to say it, Mr. Don, but that thing doubles the size of carrying batteries. I have my guys in my unit cut cardboard and line ammo cans so there isnt a short, then pack batteries into the cans. In one .30 cal ammo can, I can easily store 200 plus AA batteries with zero problems
I got one for Christmas and love it. It even fits in the drawer where we kept batteries anyway. What a great idea if you have to bug out. Just grab and go.
I just bought the “Battery Mama”. It’s an old purse with loose batteries rolling around in used tissue and gum wrappers.
LOL
Don't forget the Cooter Corks.
I bought mine at Costco $14.00 a piece
I've never heard of battery mama.
I often times find my devices drain one battery and leave one or more charged. So in the past I would throw them all away thinking they were all bad. Having this battery tester has saved me lots of batteries and money
I like to save the weak batteries for remote controls, etc.
Dude, THIS was a *MUST HAVE* as I come across so many batteries that corrode because of touching one another & other items in the drawer. No matter how well I organize. Ordered one up. Thanx a ton for this one. Saved me a small fortune from throwing batts away.
worse yet, a 9v stored uncovered in a drawer could arc if both nodes touch metal - this could actually start a fire in your battery drawer and burn your house down
Never heard of this before. So went and bought three after seeing it. My two boys will have their own boxes and one for the kitchen. Great gift idea.
When your wife finds out that you're messing with her batteries she going to kick your ass. You better go put them back in her special dresser drawer
LOL That's funny I was about to advise people not to use their dresser drawer mine is so heavy I can't get it out half the time
That drawer is a no go
Dayum 😅😅
This is one of the most practical things I have seen promoted on a youtube channel. I might pull the trigger on this product.
Seriously folks... Just having the battery tester was worth my $20.

I use the multi meters from Harbor Freight. Sometimes they give them to you with a purchase you have the right coupon.
Just ordered two. I love this idea.
THANKS!
Thank you for showing me how everything works. I just bought my battery Daddy. Love it 😀 👍🏾👍🏾✔☺
Got this for my birthday last month. Best gift ever.
I received one for Christmas. It holds about 175 batteries. Very impressed.
Sold!! I literally bought one from Amazon right after watching this. So many batteries just rolling around my junk drawer right now....
Ours arrived, we are happy more organized campers & our toddler felt important filling the case :D Thank you for the recommendation.
Just bought one today
I am so glad i got my Battery Daddy at Walgreens in a town i visited in Ottawa, IL. and purchased one. I had no idea how lucky that was. The only other place I seen them advertised was Publishers Clearing House. I like the battery tester. They have two versions of this handy Battery storage container.
I bought one yesterday. Seemed like a great idea. Works better than the box full of cut open clamshell battery backs.
So cool, I found this just before Christmas and bought one. Now I’m noticing the ad on TV and now a Sootch00 endorsement. I needed a battery tester and the case is a super plus. Now I just need a case for firearm accessory related batteries (2032, CR2, CR123A, etc)
This looked like the only made for TV things I’d ever consider buying when I saw it.
Thank you so much for your video. I’m trying to get better at prepping for emergencies.
This is super useful. Been wondering about a solution for battery management.
Thanks for coming in clutch.. YET AGAIN! ✊🏾🇺🇸

We bought one similar to this that fits in a drawer. We like it a lot. It doesn't hold as much as this one, but it's great not having to rummage through the drawer.
Seen the corny ads on TV. your video is much better for selling this item
I literally just bought one yesterday!!!
Gave one of these to every family on the Christmas list. They loved it!
Great video, thanks for posting! Just checked and they’re available and in stock at most Walgreens. Going to pick one up tomorrow and reclaim some desk drawer space.
I bought 2 of these, one for my hubby and one for me. I love it!
Don yer killin' me! Just ordered a Battery Daddy. I'm goin' broke watchin' the Sootch & SensiblePrepper channels! Geez
That is huge. I have a smaller version of a different brand that also includes a tester, but no handle. I do like the handle. If this were 50/60% the size of the one you show it would be perfect for my needs. Great review as always. Thanks.
My son bought me a Battery Daddy for Christmas. He knows me well. Happy Prepping!
Father in law bought me one for Christmas! Love it.

Got one for Christmas. It is awsome..

Just purchased 2 from amazon...love it. Thanks!
AWESOME PIECE OF KIT...........!!!!!!!!!
BRAVO.........!!!!!!!
My grandmother got me and my father this for Christmas it's a great little thing
I bought the same battery tester a year ago. Use it quite a bit.
I got one for Christmas, love it
I like your presentation.
Just saw you featured in another video on "Top Trending" channel the video was called 10 inventions changing the world. You were at 6:37 with Life Straw. That channel has 5 million subscribers, congratulations.
Oh BTW I've been following you for a while now, I really appreciate all you do.
I got one of these from the wife for X-mas. I recall seeing these available (online anyway) at Bed Bath & Beyond if I am not mistaken.
Just bought 2 last week. Buying 2 more today
Transitioning all my batteries to Li-ion due to the leakage I've experienced too many times, often ruining the component they were in. I have one too. Love it.
I have one and love the convenience of storage
Definitely useful. Will be a lot more organized now.
Just ordered one for myself!
Got one of these just last week! I like it.
Looks like a good piece of kit.
I just got one of these for Christmas from my mother-in-law!
Ha !!! I already have one. My wife got it for me for Christmas.
Going to buy one this weekend thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Don. I have been using the Milwaukee double-sided cases typically used for screws, nuts, small parts, etc. I like the Battery Caddie because it's purpose built. Got one as a Christmas gift also
I like it
Love to find one of those for all my 18650's and weapon light/optics batteries !!!
OMG a friend gave me one of those. Don't know where he got it and the only use I've had for it is under my computer keyboard when I want to stand while doing an amateur radio contest. (Standing helps keep you awake and going!)
I have one. Sure helps to clean up the clutter in the “junk drawer”.
Shared this video on locals AmCon. Great stuff. used to test 9v batteries on the tongue!
I haven’t used a D or C battery since I was a kid for my toys. Lol I need a mini daddy or something all aa and aaa then some optic batteries.
It's just my baby daddy, lmao...that was a good laugh, thank you sir!
I have 2 of them. I picked up one at a “as seen on TV type store, the other at Fred Meyer,(Kroger), store. So look around before you pay for shipping. Got one of these for Christmas. It’s kinda neat.
Got this today at a local store for 5 dollars I was thinking about buying it at costco but my local Costco didn't have it and it was only for online order glad I waited
On your advice I ordered one a few days ago. Should be in soon! Thank you for the recommendation cause I really needed this.
Ooh we've been looking at getting some battery storage as we have a lot of torches and kids toys 🤣 will be looking into it
Love those so useful.
Hate to say it, Mr. Don, but that thing doubles the size of carrying batteries. I have my guys in my unit cut cardboard and line ammo cans so there isnt a short, then pack batteries into the cans. In one .30 cal ammo can, I can easily store 200 plus AA batteries with zero problems
where do you get your ammo cans, I've lost lots of batteries due to corrosion too.
I have a Battery Daddy, and love it. But you've offered a good idea too. Thanks for your input.
This really is a valuable video. Great job.
The battery Daddy is awesome!! Thanks
Im getting one👍 thanks for the share
I think I just found the beginnings of my Christmas gifts for this year ..
Have one and love it
I got one for Christmas and love it. It even fits in the drawer where we kept batteries anyway. What a great idea if you have to bug out. Just grab and go.
My mom is starting to think im not crazy for prepping... she got me one of these for Christmas!
Love this item we too own one ..have had it about a year and love it!!!!
I have one and I love it!
I have 4 all full. Two with dry cell and two with rechargeable. They are great. Aliexpress sells the testers cheap.
Storacell makes great battery organizers. I found an assortment organizer as well as CR123, 9V, AA, AAA, C, and D in varying sizes.
So cool, I'm online now buying one now! 😁
This is really cool. I see lots of storage options for CR123 but not for the more everyday batteries.
