Well I done did it! Gotta hand it to the MTA... they've made a LOT of ADA and aesthetic station improvements in 5 years time. Unfortunately it still feels like service frequency and reliability got better for a bit in 2019, then worse again, but it's harder to quantify that without a deep data dive (which I don't plan to do). - Авто та транспорт

At Times square the 4 tracks were not built for the shuttle. When it first opened it was one line that came down the 7th ave line, made a left turn to Grand Central where it made a right turn and continued south. The current shuttle route used to be the main line there.

At 2017 there were not 4 tracks there were 3
The new south ferry opened in 2009 and got destroyed by sandy in 2012 and was reopened in 2018-2019
Tracks 1 and 4 are still in service, track 3 was covered over during reconstruction work

Regarding the flowing water at the Broadway G station, it's not flooding from the street. What you're seeing is actually an underground stream that flows in that particular part of Brooklyn. When they were first digging the Crosstown IND, they came across it, and they decided to just let it flow its normal course through the tunnels. It would have been more work to try to suppress the water. You can see this stream at a number of stations along the G line. Not so G-boring, isn't it?

You could try doing all trains MNRR.
Not like the subway. Although he would just keep having to switch to lines only at Harlem - 125th and Grand Central, and don't forget the West of Hudson lines, the Port Jervis line and Spring Valley
