This weapon needs a lot more radius to be viable, even more radius than the disk launcher. Its not imbalanced becuase the weapon has a set trajectory and like you said, not very long range. Until then it's only about as useful as confetti
Disagreed. A radius implant for this weapon exists, but as they said you have to lead your target and predict where they will be. You cant brainlessly point and shoot. It has a short reload, deals good damage and has indirect fire. Its balanced.

Ik, that this isn't related but I honestly was thinking of a close range weapon but not as electricity, but rather good old fashioned flames, which I like to call "Incineration", which will have some pros an cons.
Allow me to explain. Incinerator: (energy 6,8,12, and 16) Pros: heavy damage the more close you are to the opponent, and overheat and [burn] damage [Burn damage is the damage after you stop firing the incinerator at the opponent, which will take DPS after firing the Incineration], plus it loses ammo slowly upon firing and recharges quickly (suseptible to crash)

The nade launcher isn't the best but definitely not the worst, with the slow projectile speed trying to hit your enemies is quite a challenge, although the fact it's able to flush out opponents is nice, the splash radius should be bigger to compensate for how hard to predict and lead your shots, overall I kinda like the nade launcher, has decent damage and that rapid fire rate makes it rain nades on the battlefield, don't see why it's so over hated tho
Flush them out to do what? Kill you in the blink of an eye? The damage needs a major buff. In comparison to other out there, there is no reason to choose this over say multiple DL builds. ......I got one for the specialization spree though.....love me some free acoins...lol
@gstar8765 I don't use both at the same time, I use one to force them out and then eliminate them with another weapon, if I do use both I'd be using Panther for some temporary cover or a extended cover from where I am, nade launcher 8 I use sense the damage us better than nade launcher 6, I still find the weapon to have vary good potential, but as of now, with EM Rifles dominating the meta, I use them for of course the spree for extra acoins, but also practice it here and there for when the devs buff it
This weapon must have other parameters such as an angle marker because the developers made the weapon fire bullets only at a minimum distance when the shot is below the horizon and the maximum distance when the shot is above the horizon, between that there is always a blind spot. This weapon is not for aiming and locking but rather a suppressor like a Minigun. I hope the next update can fix this feature.

Hey, 75 meters on javelin is quite a ground to cover,yet again they are javelins. Still my points stand that skilled barrage player can make these 80 meter a living hell to any non-scout mech. Scouts are the bane of every weapon that rely on range to at least some extent
Even after The gear hub this weapon isn't avaliable to everyone because : 1. Till Tier V the other two variants cost more than 2000 a coins . 2. The only Nade Launcher that costs credits is the Nade Launcher 10 still costs 268,000 credits ( At tier V). 3. And it is underwhelming as well
The Radius on the Nade launcher is too low which causes it to miss too much. The radius is only 5m and with max lv implants it only goes to 7.5m which makes it not worth investing into at all. Disc Launcher radius is 9.375 "without implants" which allows you to pressure people out of hiding properly. Once they increase the radius to at least 7m base without implants then I'll test further and consider putting resources into it. For now its just a paper weight. Same goes for the mini gun. Very under powered and still gets out DPSed by the Arc Torrent. On paper the minigun looks nice but the fire rate is too slow and takes too long to empty your clip which causes you to have more face time, making you take a lot of damage. To fix this you can lower the total magazine size but keep the damage the same. That way the damage per bullet increases as well as the DPS. Then it can compete against the AT's. Once they increase the fire rate of the minigun or lower magazine size while keeping damage the same to increase DPS then I will consider investing into this weapon. For now this one too is just another paper weight.
i also feel that AT’s could use a range nerf, with implants you can get it up to like 40-50 meters last i checked and that feels wayyy too far for a weapon that can chain damage and is under the “close quarters” category, but yeah Nade Launchers should have a splash radius in between disc launchers and middle racks or even the quad launcher
i have an idea for a new mech, i’m not good with names so i will leave it up to ya’ll: the mech generate a permanent shield when below half energy capacity: and a temporary but tankier shield at full.

Why they don't want to make pilot impulse available with acoin in inventory.... it's no use to upgrade nade weapon as most player unable to get the pilot. With the implant removal still not appear people don't want to use other non barrage pilot

I’ve paired my Nade 10 with Cryo Javelin 6 on my Arachnos. Very underrated combo

I used to pair my nade launchers with Orion. The Hunter's Mark for extra damage plus stasis effect allows me to land good hits 👌
