After shooting all of the top bows from most manufacturers, the Traverse was hands down the best bow I've shot. I ordered one and waited a month and a half to get it. It seems they weren't ready for the popularity of this bow. I've shot it 3 or 4 rounds so far and I couldnt be happier with it. They nailed it with this bow.

Good luck find a used traverse!! Those suckers go fast and maintain high value. I “settled” for a V3X 33 and couldn’t be happier. I chased a Traverse for several years but couldn’t ever make it come together. Glad Mathews came out with another longer platform bow that’s an absolute tack driver.

Love it...I ran into matt McPherson a few months back and all he wanted to talk about was the vertix. It's almost like he didnt know he had created the best bow of the year in the traverse.

Archery should not be about a popularity contest it should be about what fits the archer the best. Not picking on anyone but when I see people struggle with a bow because of its size and they become frustrated with archery fit and feel is what archery is about not ever person needs a short bow or a long bow they really need what fits them the best

They stopped making them. I have purchased two in mint condition in the last two weeks.. One for my son and the other for me. He hunts and I shoot targets. Lots of the Mathews faithful were hoping the Traverse just added the switchable weight cams and kept it at 33. No luck for them, but I got 2 great bows.

Just wish they'd offer more color choices on the target bows :(

Redo the 35" Wake with the switchweight cams from the Vertix, the new engage grip, and a new riser design optimized for weight saving and cost and we would have a talk...

Only thing stopping me from buying a Traverse is the hope that they’ll do an X version at 35” next year.
30” hunting bows are stupid, 35-36 is perfect.

Please drop the switch weight technology like a bad habit. It’s not new technology and there’s a reason bow manufacturers don’t use it.

Traverse doesn't have switch weight. Don't like the mods. Don't buy the 30 inch triax

I own the Traverse. I know it doesn’t have switch weight but I didn’t buy the Vertix because it does and I’m afraid the full 2020 bow lineup will have it. If it does I’m done with Mathews.

@@Hoytshooter I know. But other than 2 inches and switch weight there is no real difference. I was a joking. I passed over the vertix for the similarity reason. I was shooting a halon 30 6. Traverse is the real gem of the flagships

    I learnt something
The only way to get a merican to correctly pronounce a T sound in a word.
Put the T at the beginning of the word.
