After being unavailable for a while, the HX Stomp is currently in stock for $600 (£500) in the UK! Not often UK prices for electronics are cheaper... in fact, even the silver XL is $730 (£600)
If a company other than Line 6 released the One, it would have been accepted way better. The biggest problem with it is that it just sheds light on how amazing the Stomp is. The One is $300 and gives you one effect, no amps or cabs. The Stomp costs 2x as much but gives you 8x as many active effects including amps and cabs.
I have had the pod go for quite awhile now and if I could go back and do it again I would save the extra money and get the hx stomp for the extra dsp and flexibility. Plus the pod go hasn’t gotten the last few updates that the stomp and helix has gotten so I’m starting to wonder if line six has just taken the pod go as far as there going to and that’s it🤔
Pod GO has 2.0 update now with huge amp upgrades and also it’s easy enough to edit the preset file and remove the wah pedals, and the amp/head if you want to make it into a hx effects of effectively
Just got the HX Stomp, love smaller setup from what I had before, with the flexibility on silent practicing and rig testing on headphones. Any tips on FOH setup (mixer settings) with the your tested sounds and output settings? Band using IEMs.
Doesn’t the hx fx at least run IRs? That’s a huge huge miss, if it could load IRs I would never complain about the price, there are half a dozen IR loaders alone for $300, horrible decision to up the price of the stomp by $100 that’s a dramatic increase
Honestly still pretty lost on what one to get🤣can get a full helix for £700 the lt is about £500 and the stomp/go £300, it’s not a massive price jump to just get the full helix rather than going for one of the cheaper options
As a bassist I used a sans amp for years to front of house that has served me well. When we stopped using amps it was no big deal. I did get a hx stomp tho and set it up as a sans amp type amp. It does it well. actually it does it better than the real one it’s been my go to next to a ampeg svt type for awhile now. And boy oh boy I’m glad I don’t need that 85lb svt anymore haha. 😂
Fellow bassist here. I find myself going back and forth between a helix or the sans amp… have considered using my stop but havnt taken the plunge into making a bass setting in the stomp yet…
Has anyone else run into the “squeaky expression pedal” on the helix or helix LT?… have struggled to find a reliable source about how to repair it…. And it squeaks so bad it is literally unusable…

Understandable but don’t give up on the POD Go. The new cab generator is coming out at the beginning of November!!
@@HeyWorshipLeader Could we change the angle and position of the mic after this new cab generator update?
@@billytheo9187 Yes!

Nube question. I have an amp I love (ac30) and my has strat. I want to download patches for a line 6. Will the helix hx do that for me ?
Yes...the AC30 FAWN is really great for that
