- Been working on this one for weeks. Finally got a good take. Went a little off the rails for the outro but held it together. I thought the solo would be the tricky part, but I forgot about all the tempo changes! Did my best to make them as natural as possible. It's gradual in the song, but I made specific tempo jumps at keys times. The tempos are visible in on the score.
Definitely most challenging arrangement yet, just edgin out Sugar Plum Fairy, mostly because of the length. There's some points where my rhythm strays slightly from the score, but I did my best to make it match the vocal melody. Make sure your hands are warmed up for this one!

@@petrerasov7013honestly I did so many I wouldn’t be surprised if I bent the d and g strings out a few cents on that solo. Also I tweaked the truss rod to get the action right, it’s been buzzin in this cold weather, so the intonation might be off a bit. Hope it doesn’t bother you too much.

Ah I see, I'm also rocking a ray 4 without pickguard haha and I recognised the oval shaped screw holes, but I didn't know they made sterling with this reddish metallic color, very cool

Yea! Good eye. I gave it to an artist that said they would build me a custom one and then they ghosted me. I think it looks pretty cool! 😎

@@milomufich it’s a sub sterling. It was that first wave of music man basses that were affordable. Got it about 20 years ago. I’ve always wanted a Stingray, sometimes this thing is just too bright. But it has that ever important 21st fret unlike my pbass.
