Can't stop listening, can't help running bring my guitar and jam, K K is great! They say Country M. is conservative, I'm open minded but when I listen this kind of music go crazy ! GREAT
This Thanksgiving -- instead of Over the River and Through the Woods.... Singing and Sharing this song .. This year !! Eight more miles and I'll be home Back in your grace where I belong Tonight I'm sleeping in my own bed With my blue tick feather pillow underneath my head I feel the wheels on sixty five I don't know when, felt so alive Eight more miles Eight more miles and I'll be home Since I've been gone everything's changed There's been two weeks of steady rain And the dogwoods bloom, pink and white And that damp smell of new cut grass is everywhere tonight Sweet sunny sound, I never knew Just how much I could miss you Eight more miles Eight more miles and I'll be home I crossed the Rockies on a silver train I've walked from Burghan in a pouring rain I met with strangers I came to love And I've gotten drunk with Chieftains in a Dublin hotel pub And I dearly love these memories But all that matters right now to me Is eight more miles Eight more miles and I'll be home Eight more miles Eight more miles and I'll be home
@VASINGER You're right, but I did not say it is wrong I just say I prefer, as int his song and in some John Hartford, John Starling, John Prine, Bruce Robison and many others songs less patriottism and more doubts about life and things. Thanks to say your opinion.
Well, I'm from Italy, so I'm not sure to understand. In my country there's a lot of people believing that Country Music is a cowboy singing about God, Country, Love and Family, but if you know people like, for, instance John Hartford, you know thatìs not true.
Kieran's a true musician. This song makes me feel good, chases away my blues.
Great song!! Love Kieran and his backup guys too!! This song just makes you feel GOOD!
I love to listen to this when I need a pick me up Ron a bad day. What a great song and a great performance! Thank you!
Thank You. Firstly, I Love Kieran Kane, seen him, Welsch, Kaplin,,, and now these people. This is cool. I Capo'd up and jammed along rather quickly.
Great song, great mix... Made my day!

That would be old style country western, VNTPLA. Now a days they pretty much write and sing about anythng and everything from baseball to trucking.
same, where's all the open-minded folk when you need it? :D
Yea, it's a bad stereotype. >:
