Hi Terry! Your videos was really helpful when I was studying and learning for the CCS certification thank you for your dedication to the industry and helping those you want to be in the medical coding community. I am now a certified coding specialist but getting a job is a huge challenge the company’s always want a 3 years experience. I would love to hear your recommendation where to apply I have been in almost all social media like indeed and linkedin to name a few. I really need help!🙏.. I would love to hear your thoughts and you can share a guide or whatever it could be is greatly appreciated. Thank you for what you do and your willingness to share your knowledge.
Yes, that first job is the hardest. You probably need to "get a foot in the door" as a receptionist or release of information specialist. You can also apply for positions that require more experience than you have--maybe you can get an interview anyway. Talk also to your teachers--sometimes they have leads. Good luck to you!
@@tropinsmedicalcodingmadeea7551 Thank you Terry for replying to my query. I did self study for the certification, I just make use of videos that provide valuable knowledge and facts to help me pass the certification exam. I just felt discourage at times it seems that all the effort was wasted but still looking. I just prayed that one of this company’s would take me.
