Young lady, not sure why you are afraid of using the stronger tension? For best results: Hair should be damp, not soaking wet and you need to use at least 5-7 level for about :60 seconds. Also, you need a good leave-in. I have very curly air a little bit shorter than yours. This dryer works well....if used correctly. Try it again (PS a regular dryer uses a lot more heat. This devise uses about half the heat, so don't be afraid.

    1.Detangle first
2.After first 60 sec run through it again
3.After last run through use the chasing method
*you can use the cool shot to set your hair

Hey there! Thanks for sharing your honest review of the Rev Air Reverse Hair Dryer. It sounds like you had quite the experience unboxing and trying it out. It's great that it stretches your hair, but I totally get your disappointment with it feeling dry afterward. Detangling before drying might help. I also noticed some of the women who got good results added a little water to their hair before drying. I would also go up on the tension setting. Keep experimenting, and I hope your ratings improve with time!

Hello! Fortunately, my experience with this dryer has improved. Detangling is definitely necessary before using this driver. I am still experiencing a slight amount of dryness, so I’ll try spraying with water as you suggested. I will upload a video in the near future concerning my opinion on this dryer. Thank you so much for watching and leaving this comment! God bless🙏🏽🤍

girl the same thing happened to me!! i feel duped lol thank you for posting this, my revlon one step blowdry brush does 1000% better. honestly i think it doesnt get hot enough quick enough for my hair and i need more tension.
like after blow drying, my hair was just like yours like tangly and coarse (more coarse than usual) and kinda stiff!! even still a bit damp even though i did it for a long time. Also yah of course she detangled before lol idk what these ppl in the comments are saying lol. like my hair was detangled before i put it in. if you figure it out please update bc im having the same issues

I felt duped at first as well! I’ve used it about three times since uploading this video and I can now say that I’m in love with it! At first I thought my revlon one step blow dryer was better, and considered going back to it, but once you get the hang of the RevAir reverse dryer, you’ll no longer feel the need to use it.
I’ll make a video in the near future with an update on how I dry my hair with this dryer. Please stay tuned. I think you’ll find it helpful🙏🏽❤️

For me I returned the revair after using it once. I felt it made my hair feel dry and brittle. I was hesitant because everyone is hyping it up and I thought is it something I’m doing wrong. I moisturize my hair like also but my hair did not feel right. Yes it got it straight but if I’m being honest my blower gets my hair straight to and I have never experienced hardness of my hair from a blow dryer. I just followed my gut and decided to return it.
I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this and doubting themselves because everyone hyped this up but I’m here saying I dont think it’s worth it.

So sorry you had that experience. I did contemplate returning it as well, but I decided to give it one more try. I don’t regret keeping it, as I’ve gotten better result over time. Like you, I thought it wasn’t worth the hype, but it really is once you use it correctly😁

Also, the dryer is NOT a detangler. You MUST detangle it first.
