Man, I got a PS3 in 2010, I dusted it yesterday and realized the Bluetooth doesn't work and I got this game in my library. Imagine playing on a 4K TV of 65 inches at 1.5 meters wired to my PS3 💔
This is last nfs game worth buying on console for split screen experience. If this was re released with split screen mode on every platform it would be a best seller.
Split/Screen is great to have for local multiplayer and something I prefer rather than playing online. I wish developers would bring this back but online has taken over and nobody thinks about local multiplayer anymore unless they're playing on the Switch.
It depends on your preferences. For me it's the 360, though PS3 is also good on its own. You can't buy either digitally, so you'll have to find a disc copy and the PS3 version is harder to find these days. The Collector's Edition of Carbon can be gotten on the PS2 and Xbox 360 and while the PS3 doesn't have it, if you're wanting the CE then you know it's the 360 version.
Acabo de descargarla para el Ps3 y pensaba que era mi mando el que no funcionaba y creo que la función no está disponible. Recuerdo que en Ps2 la tenía.
Hooked up my PS3 to play this on my LG C1 78inch and even tho the graphics look great, the choppy framerate just ruins it for me now that im used playing smooth 60hz+ frame rates.
NFS titles are usually 30fps. If you want to play NFS Carbon at 60+ fps while looking fantastic, play the PC version. I think someone on youtube would explain how to unlock the framerate or whatever to get 60+ but I don't know, I haven't done that. Either way though, the PC version would look the best on the LG tv than the console versions. For consoles, the tv would just do some upscaling but it's not going to improve the framerate on consoles since they're mostly locked to a specific number.
You can't control Neville in the tutorial, Nikki teaches you the basics and you press the button prompts the game gives you to activate her actions. First she'll block Neville, then you draft behind her car and finally she goes through a shortcut and after that the tutorial will end when Nikki says so and after doing so then the cutscene will play of you and Neville going to look for trouble which is when the game will start. If you're still having trouble, just look up a playthrough video on youtube.
@@JDGamez15 Bro, I got to the part where Nikki says she will teach me how to use the partner, but it's supposed to appear at the moment which button I should press to activate the partner, but that part doesn't appear to me and I can't continue with the tutorial. I do not know if you understand me
Are you playing on the PC or console? On Console that shouldn't happen but on PC, I dont think I've heard of the button prompt not appearing during the tutorial but I guess it could happen. Try reinstalling the game, that would usually work. Other than that, I dont know what to tell ya since it never happened to me.
A small dumb fix I've noticed and do sometimes is switching the camera to the bumper or hood which improves the framerate It's probably obvious but since the camera doesn't need to focus on the cars details it stops the small frame difference. Also the ps3 edition was ironically the definitive carbon edition as stated by the developers, still confuses me to this day why only it got the exclusives but not 360 and PC since all 3 of these are the best versions compared to the rest (wii,gc,ps2,xbox)
What exclusives did the PS3 version have? I'm also wondering why the PS2 and Xbox 360 versions (and PC) had a Collector's Edition but the PS3 version did not. It's also a shame that NFS Most Wanted was made on the PS2, GC, Xbox and PC systems along with the HD version for Xbox 360 but there wasn't a PS3 version. If you bought the PS2 Classic before June 2012 from the PS3 store then you had that but that was it.
@@JDGamez15 from what i know, xbox 360 have ability to emulate & improve older games, just like xbox one / xbox series did to emulate xbox 360 games.. (effortless for the dev) while ps3 games with ps2 title is a new port
My reply was for the person above me but alrighty. The Xbox consoles and hardware, are from Microsoft and since they produce Windows PC's, they did it similarly with the CPU's in the Xbox systems so they didn't really have much of a problem with carrying backwards compatibility, but with Sony's PlayStation systems, especially the PS3 it had a Core CPU which made it more difficult for devs to make PS3 games and ports. But on the topic of exclusivity, the guy above mentioned the PS3 version got "exclusives" and the other systems did not and I was asking him what he meant by it.
@@JDGamez15 Before taking me out of context let me remind you or at least speculate that at the time the developers may have made an honest mistake You have to remember this was at the time when the game released at the beginning of the console generation while also being sold and touted with the ps3's and wii's "unique exclusive control methods". Also back then PC's were not spec'd out like nowadays,so the majority of people played the ps2/xbox/ps3/360 versions compared to the rest. News outlets at the time would do the same but in reality the 3 main versions were 99% identical
If you have a modded 360 you can edit the .xex file for the game to turn off vsync, runs much better. The game should have released that way

there is something in the car reflections of the 360 version that looks better, and I don't know what it is
