    Need more videos like this. Best way to learn a call is to hear it from an actual bird

      Thank you for posting this.thats exactly how I learned to call , from the turkeys themselves.cant get a better teacher.

    Once I started calling soft, I started harvesting gobblers more consistently. Absolutely no need to call loud except to locate a gobbler. Too many guys have no idea the range of a turkey's hearing. Besides the fact, soft calling is far more realistic, than calling loudly to a gobbler that is 100 yds or less.

      Believe it or not, on the property I hunt I see at least one bearded hen every year! It’s a large property, too (it’s a 3,000 acre property owned by by a timber company, leased to the hunting club I’m part of.

      Good spot! At one point, we had 3 bearded hens in that local flock.

    I assume they were feeding on some type seeds in the hay?
