The abilities of gymnasts is ridiciously insane. He is a rings gymnasts but is still capable of doing stuff like this. Double somersaults and splits and stuff
thats so easy if u compare it to what he does on rings you can learn dub front if u know the basics in like a couple of weeks unlike planche on rings what takes years and years if training
No you dont learn double front in weeks, and what he did is even harder, handspring double front. It can take up to a year to perfect it, but yeah planche takes so fucking long. And also even if youre a rings specialist splits is still needed lol
@ColinJohnsonChannel splits is a skill every gymnast needs, you cant perform properly in gymnastics if youre not flexible which is why every gymnast can do splits. Its not like we learn splits just to perform it in a routine but to have that flexibility in general
@ColinJohnsonChannel forcing any kind of stretch can lead to injuries which is why we train flexibility every day, splits is literally just a stretch that every high level gymnast needs. In almost every skill in gymnastics you need technique, strength and flexibility which is why every form of splits is important
@@arghyachattaraj711 I wouldn’t be too quick to say that. Both calisthenics and weightlifting have their place. Personally I find that calisthenics is best suited for upper body strength and muscle gains whereas weightlifting is best suited for lower body strength and muscle gains. Though this is not to say that you should not lift weights for your upper body. All I’m saying is if you’re trying to keep your training to a bang-for-your-buck kind of deal, you can make remarkable progress with calisthenics for your upper body in the long-term. But that’s just me and my opinion though. Edit: There are times where I actually do lift weights for my upper body. But for the most part in my general training routine, I mostly stick to calisthenics exclusively for my upper body. The reason why I say weightlifting is best suited for the lower half is mostly due to the rule of adaptation. Meaning even with the pistol squat, which is highest intensity variation of bodyweight squats, that won’t yield much gains after a while. If you’re trying to “gaintain” your leg strength, then that’s not a problem. But if you’re trying to get your legs to grow, there’s no reason not to use weights since the legs are already very powerful on their own.
@@nicholascauton9648 i think is correct but it depends on the fence Gymnast definitely depends of calisthenics in order to flex their body in every way they can, but also using weights in order to increase intensity and hence progress But i dont think calisthenics sucks with lower body part I mean, pistol squats? Yeah, but you can stil make it hard by not just sticking to isotonic movement, but with others like isometric and slow reps Those are killers in every way you can think of making an exercise more harder Also there are shrimp squats, full rom pistols squats, nordic curls, reverse nordic curls, full rom the previous one ( by using a blaster) And even nore challenging calisthenics exercises like sissy squats, inverted squats, one leg nordic and reverse curl Like As long it works the muscle and you do it with correct form and with no risk of injury, sure calisthenics can help your lower body and making entertaining( also risky, can't deny that) Calisthenics athletes have chicken legs just because of the skills needed, by having way to much mass on the legs makes the center of gravity way too hard
I believe when most of us are trying to workout in order to build our bodies gymnists had the answer the whole time.

dude is an absolute unit and works like a flawless machine.
Shape of the best!
His back's wider than a wardrobe
Everyone is talking about his lats, but just look at his calves
Agreed. His calves are touching each other even when his knees have a decent gap.
Extrem Back muscular!
He's swole af tho! Everyone should train to be able to move their body like that instead of just getting big.
For real, you also get so strong it’s crazy
Yup I feel that calisthenics is a much better alternative to traditional bodybuilding with weights

amazing !
The real way to work out for sure
Gymnasts do train with weights to be able to hold their bodies in such positions.
@@100KGNatty it's called weighted calisthenics... They put weights using dip belts or use weighted vests. This doesn't require you to go to the gym
Beautiful
Mans a fucking unit
His lats are wings
