In regards to the bodies smelling, they mentioned it in the video but there is a common cement/construction ingredient/material called "Lime" which is used in pretty much all types of concrete and masonry and is also sold individually in 60+lb bags as a additive to make concrete dry faster and is used a lot out in the country by farmers and pet owners who spread it over dead farm animals and pets before filling in the grave, it basically dries out the corpse really fast and destroys the smell along with dissuading predators from digging up the corpse. It looks like white flour but if you let it stay on your hands too long it'll dry them out the point of cracking. Also Lime and lye have been used in a lot of murders, lye is totally different but does sort of the same thing with bodies but you won't find it in large quantities because its far more harmful and its generally the only ingredient in NON liquid (granular) drain cleaners. Its also used in chemistry specifically to "distill" or separate different drugs (I don't know the tech terms)

Shortly after I went into the Army and my parents relocated our old neighbors that lived on the mountain above us went to buy a car off Craigslist, murdered the car owner, brought his body home and stuck him in a chest freezer and went about their business. Also we moved from Baileyton TN to Sevier County TN to the above house right before the Iliad murders took place at the the exit for Baileyton. If y'all have never heard of them you should look it up it's honestly surprising there hasn't been a Halloween movie about them.
I'm from Tulsa... creepy. My friend met her Childs father on Craigslist. They were embarrassed by that and always lied and said they met at work bc they both worked in the medical field. They dated for a while and then lived together for a while. They were engaged and had a child but never ended up married. he cheated on her once and she forgave him but then she later found out he had a secret gf for like 6 months so she left him and they now share custody of their child and he moved in with the other gf im not sure if they are still together. He seemed normal but he was a habitual cheater. I've always been too scared to buy something off craigslist, ive heard too many crazy stories and thats mostly just around Tulsa, OK. My friends and I use to read the personals on there for fun when we were younger, there were a lot of really weird ones. It's kind of weird with so so many things that have happened that the site hasn't been "cancelled" or shut down. But I guess the really bad things never are. Not that I want it shut down, I just find it kind of creepy and odd.
I used to walk home from work everyday past the school that kid went to who was with the older male killing people in Ohio during the time this happened. After I learned what happen it was a little creepy and I tended to look over my shoulder more. You just never know!
I knew somebody who's cousin was a gay man who met another man on CL. He met up for sex in a house that was being built. They found him dead rolled up in a roll of carpet left at the house. That too was in Ohio where I live. Never would I mess with CL.
I knew a gay guy who met men for sex through it too and lots of shady stuff went on involving drugs and robbing people or something like that but he wasn't killed as far as I know... I haven't heard about him for a while. This was in Tulsa, OK area.
Where I grew up there were a series of unsolved crimes where the police found bodies floating inside a huge 5 foot tall ceramic bowls filled with milk and a 10 foot spoon. The police suspected it was a cereal killer. 🥣

This is true. When CL first debuted, I think it worked a little closer to advertised but it’s riddled with scams now. I do have friends that still get some cool stuff though, people go there when they want to get rid of things fast (relocating, too big to transport, etc.) so you can find gold if you’re willing to dig.
