At 71 I can definitely say this system works! I was always amazed at how people could solve this so I had some time and gave it a try. This was the most helpful, entertaining, and informative video about Rubik’s cubes I’ve found! I have been cubing for 2 years now, and have 23 sec average. I cannot tell you how useful this tutorial is for beginners! Stay till the end and keep strong! Eventually you will definitely solve a cube! :D

I’ve had a cube for many years and it mostly sat as a desk ornament. Sure, from time to time I’d give it a try, but I never really figured anything out. The other day I had a sudden urge to learn how to complete it. I looked at a few guides but I thought they weren’t that great. I found your series here and I think you’ve come up with a really intuitive way to teach this subject.

Thank you for sharing this information. I am a serve dyslexic and I was eventually able to solve the puzzle. It did take me many attempts and I did take notes along the way but I was able to do it. I encourage everyone to keep trying and take the steps slowly. Rewatch the videos as many times as needed. YOU CAN DO IT!!

Bruh every time in the video whenever you turn the first petal it is never replaced with a green block in the middle😂😂 I don’t get it

Firstly, great video! Can you please confirm if the rubik's cube is still solvable if the color to match the petal tip is on the bottom or top? An example I've run into is one of the petal tips is blue, but the blue side is on the bottom or top. Thank you!
Yes. still solvable!
if the blue side is on the bottom or the top, it means you aren't orienting the cube correctly. When holding the cube for this step, make sure yellow side is facing up. (then blue can never be top or bottom).

The vids overall are great but there is simply zero logic to solving a “daisy” rather than just make the white cross in the first place, it makes no sense at all

There are some solid facts that many cube teachers don't realize when they are teaching a beginner:
-Beginners are scared
-Beginners feel the cube is impossible
When you give them something so simply and 2-D as the daisy, it builds confidence. Then on step 2, ripping the petals off - even easier. By step 3, they are confident enough to tackle that real step and so on.
It's called teaching. Less about feeling superior, and more about getting into the head of the student. :)
This is why millions have solved using my method.

Start over. you can do it!
Just go back to the daisy again. On step 2, pay attention to the petal ripping part. The colors must be lined up first.

Below each one of my petals I have an orange, red, and two greens. I have no blue. Is my rubics cube wrong? I’m following all the steps by when I get to step three its basically impossible to get the t shape on each side. Can you help? Im worried somebody played with it and perhaps flipped a corner or something

I try and match the edge pieces with the center pieces,but if I get one matched up, the other 3 aren’t

The problem was the first petal I had to match the collar to the centre to Mach the collar was at the bottom what do I do

My cube has different opposite colors and when I try to make the white plus, at least 2 of the colors are missing when trying to remove the petals and if I try to rearrange it so the colors match up, I end up with random colors on the bottom 😥
you can either memorize the difference, or get the same cube I use in the video. (link in the description) happy cubing!

Edit: I figured out the problem. I've dropped my cube several times while trying to learn, so my sides where all wrong.

Is my cube a chinese knockoff? My colors are not the same as yours!! You went through the opposite colors, mine are not the same. And I cannot rip off one of the petals because it is the petal has yellow on the other side. So how can I move the yellow center down to rip off the petal? Crap

I solve the white cross, but the farmers are mixed up. I simply move the 2 bottom layers, but it doesn't work. I did it 10 times, but no difference.
Pay attention to the petal-ripping part. You'll get it!! Watch to the very end.

So, let us review, one month later this 69-year-old can now solve it in under 4 minutes. No notes, no cheat sheets, just me babbling the steps. What helped tremendously was taking key notes from the videos (rewriting the notes) on every step and reviewing (visually) it daily for one hour or so and walking around the house saying, clock…clock…counter…clock…. clock…flip…counter…. etc. Yes, I probably was dreaming about the steps in my sleep. P.S. I have a stupid question, how can someone solve the cube in under 1 minute or in just a few seconds if they are performing all the 8 steps, is there a secret…secret video with secret…secret steps somewhere? Obviously, some steps are eliminated, thanks for any info.

to answer your question, the beginner method is linear. There is a way to solve faster, but its alot more memorizing. look up "speed solving" and you'll find a channel that will teach it. World record for speed solving is 3.13 seconds.
It’s been 3 weeks now without my notes or fish/critter chart and my average time is slightly above 3 minutes with my best at 2 minutes 20 seconds. The one thing I’ve noticed is that the Rubic’s Cube seems to be reproducing like Tribbles, I now have 4 scattered about the house in my practice zones.

when i twist the bottom to try and match the centres there are always 2 that are on the wrong side how do i fix it
Watch the video to the end. I walk through an example. Line up the colors on one side and rip of that petal. You'll get it!
