This is the only video I've seen from this channel but if this video is any indication of the quality of posts then he deserves way way more views. This is THE most in-depth video of the menu system out of everyone's video. The detailed and thorough information was superb. I have been using the xreal air 1's for 2 years so I understand the infrastructure and he hit on everything. Will be buying the one pro's coming out March 2025 which will increase the FOV from 46 to 57° which is an actual upgrade worth money as opposed to the dimming lenses in the air 2nd gen which also had the edge blurring issues which has also now been fixed.
so we have Air 1 with completely unfinished nebula software for android or windows... Then Beam with more problems, no google play, low resolution in Netflix etc. Then Beam Pro, which no longer has video input and is a pointless device when we have a good Samsung phone with dex. then Air 2 glasses with problems with sharpness on the edges of the image. And finally maybe the first product that is not a beta version... I hope this review was not purchased and if there were any flaws you would mention them? Right? RIGHT?
I'm glad that I waited to buy Xreal glasses. I have the Beam Pro, but mainly because I can take 3D photos and videos with it. I watch my content on my VR headset(s), by streaming the content from the Beam to my headset. Works very well.
8:06 The follow mode really fix a critical function by following your head in precise conjunction of your head movement. And this feature is perfect when you also got smooth image stabilization. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾
I currently have the Virtue Pros and was debating on getting the pro versions of these? Does the screen appear larger than the virtue pros? Would you recommend it for someone that has a pair of AR glasses already?
So if you turn on ultrawide mode and connect it to a Windows PC it would come up as an external ultrawide display? What's the resolution that comes up on the Windows settings?
I'm desperately waiting for something like this, wireless to exist... being able to work privately in public, being able to work while sweating in the gym is a game changer. Being able to watch movies/content while laying down. It would literelly free up hours and hours in my case, while providing better ergonomics for certain things.. I'd pay A LOT for a wireless version
I can imagine 2 things why wireless is extremely difficult, 1. power for the display 2. data transfer for high resolution But who knows, it is may be just a matter of time, it could be a very long time though.
@@_Mario_PL_ I did consider, that was my first thought, but currently battery technology can no way pack enough juice to.power the two hi-res bright displays plus power for processing all in the frame unless the frame is made bulky to a point it no longer will be a glass rather the meta quest kind device :)
@@murali-alive Exactly, it would make them huge. I have xreal air 2 pro and using them with my Fold 5, I get about 5 hours of use with Dex. Coming from 4,400 mah.
This is really cool to see, but does also kinda of confirm that they won't be investing any more into their Beam products. Having an older version of the Xreal Pros I am both happy to see this improvement but also annoyed that I didn't wait a bit longer to grab the Xreals. are you able to launch their nebula software from any phone now that the beam functionality is baked into the glasses?
Great video review. Is it possible to map the audio volume control to the side buttons? Or do we need to still control the audio via the connected device?
At this time volume is mostly intended to be controlled by the host device the option in the settings is mainly for extra boost. The brightness and shade are not removable at this time
Currently watching on my Air 2 Pro with Beam Pro. It's very tempting but I will wait for a sale. I can't now use my glasses without headphones because left speaker died on the glasses.
Wondering if the x1 makes the glasses draw more power and if the beam pro lasts longer (due to less processing power needed) or shorter (due to more power demand from the glasses)? Apparently there's a beam 5g with better specs coming out soon to Europe?
That's a great point. It will draw more power for sure but did not seem that much more than using the glasses by themselves to me from what I noticed on my last trip with them
Having built-in head tracking is definitely great, but we still need more smartphones with wired video output. I don't think the Beam/Beam Pro station will be deprecated anytime soon.
Absolutely this is not trying to replace them but providing us another solution for people that don't want to carry two separate devices. To beam pro is still amazing
@spartan5280 not the Viture Pro model and as far as i can tell there is only 32:9 mode if you use the space walker app on a PC or à Mac...nothing(yet) on android
Thanks. I guess the only other question is the ones or the one pro's ? I know the one Pros have a larger field of view just trying to decide if that's worth the extra hundred dollars.
Using them on iphone (for example) no reason you couldnt have the phone charging on magsafe and using thr glasses at same time… on android, use a wireless charger
So the standard models supports software ipd adjustments. Three different settings inside of the OSD. The pro model unfortunately I don't have that one supports hardware adjustments. For me on the standard model they've been working great and I was able to adjust them to the right level for my eyes. I don't use them with glasses and I don't need my glasses
@ ok thx, the issue with real up til now had been that they only support up to 57 mm ipd as far as I remember, which for many including me just isn't enough
@@SuperJagge the Air One Pro coming out March 2025 will come in 2 different models specifically for different IPD ranges, and has a software IPD customization option
Nice features, unfortunately you can't use the previous models prescription inserts. Hey were expensive and probably a deal breaker for me. I will wait until they are wireless.
Im not sure how long the sale will be for but honsvr is selling new prescription lenses for $50, even for one pro coming out in march 2025 which will increase fov from 46 to 57 degrees. It will probably be a decade before a global battery generational advance is discovered for these glasses to run wirelessly. The meta raybans and translate glasses use a fraction of a fraction percent of power if that's what you're comparing to.
They release models with minor enhancements every three months, which is disheartening. They should launch a refined product. The Meta Orion shows what’s possible. It’s detrimental to loyal customers who see upgrades a few months after investing in previous models. They also need to improve cable and temple durability, as they break easily and glasses don’t work well after two years. My first nReal doesn’t work anymore. I recently bought the XReal Air 2 Pro.
Exactly. I actually emailed them joking about a discount, but they said no 😂😂. But even tho they flxed most issued, how are you going to remove the blackout lenses? Who needs Bose when most of the people are wearing earbuds? Why not get rid of that annoying face sensor thing that rarely works, and causes more issues than “helps”. As you said their preparatory cables are so freaking annoying, as you said they have quality issues, and just the fact they want you to buy only from them for a cable is ridiculous. As you said my first Nreal are having blurring issues, they never had before. And customer service is basically meh, we will pass it up for future improvements. I mean I really want to support the company, but some of the things they do are kinda shady. But they do have some of the better glasses. I think I’ll wait just a little longer before I upgrade.. If I do.
This is what the Xreal Air, no, every other chipless Xreal glasses should've been. They promised AR since the start but they've always just been nothing more than a display.

It's crazy how in a few months the XREAL 1 Pro will be coming out.
Are the xreal One Pro also coming out in January?
I expect to see you sporting these on our next trip 😄
Dude for sure. Between us. I had them on our last trip 😜

So they are the same, however you can change modes without the beam pro. Cool
Yes making this a truly independent system to work with other devices
The Samsung Glasses are coming soon. wonder what they will bring...

All of it is already present on Viture One/Liteb...except the window mode /resize where you need to use the app or better use a device which has dex

XReal One connected to phone for video and the same phone's bluetooth for audio possible?

No
How do u use ps5 with these
I have the Rayneo Air 2S - the sides are really blurry and it kinda sucks. How is this compared to that one?
