    Excellent. I did this a while back at 176,000 miles and had fun getting the fans in and out. And yes mine was leaking too. Also replaced the gasket on the DSG cover as it was slowly leaking fluid.

    WTF Bryan!! Your totally amazing. My wife & I watched your video while eating supper. She also is becoming a fan of yours. I told her how much I enjoy your videos & she replied "me too". Just thought you should know that you have female fans also. Thanks much for taking your time in schooling some of us out here in youtube land. Keep up the good work my friend! Have a beautiful day!! Great video. I’m doing this now. Also the clutch and dual mass flywheel and the thermostat housing. My clutch shattered. It was wild. 06 Gli thanks for your video.

    Man this looks like a huge pain. I may just top it off with oil from time to time and buy a new car in a couple years lol

      you would rather blow 10 - 20 grand instead of learning how to fix this in half of a afternoon? Dayng mayng. That is the definition of laziness lmao

    Good Job on the oil housing. But my question is how much damage did you made to the water radiator but moving all these things in between. I personally took the front end off cos I had to upgrade everything.

      The radiator survived OK. Getting the fans out of the way is a must. I could have removed the radiator now that I realize how easy it is to take it out.

      Not off hand. If it is not in the comments it is easily searchable.

      You probably have a leaking vacuum pump. I would also check the fuel pump cam follower shown in another video. I was shocked at mine.

    Did you have any CELs fixed from this? I have a P2177 code that I think may be coming from this.

    What an absolute pain in the ass. Thanks for making this video, I'm trying to determine if I want to attempt this.

    Nice Job! How much do you think that would have cost to have the dealer do it?

    • @bryansprojects3570
      @bryansprojects3570  10 місяців тому

      I think all dealer bills begin at $1000. I think that part alone is around $400 from the dealer.

    I think it will be much easier if you remove the front end and do the job..
