The napkin animation could set a new direction in high quality poker vlog production. I expect to see Brad Owen's cat doing a few napkin hands in a couple days.
Ace-King was definitely a good fold Ethan. You analyzed this hand perfectly, as very few if any players would risk their tournament life on a bluff. The biggest difference between cash and tournament. Thanks for the content and best of luck the rest of the way.
Saw the insta post and had to come back and say been playing poker almost 2 decades at 31 and consume endless poker content. I think the Brad Owen vlog with Spraggy was my favorite vlog this year bc I love the feeling of a tangible villain at the tbl and Spraggy plays that perfectly IMO and love Spraggs. On that note I would like to say this series or vlog I seriously CANT believe u got all this on footage will be the greatest poker vlog to date. Keep doing these. If you somehow clogged the entire main and bonked it it would go down as the greatest poker vlog of all time but thank u so much Ethan for capturing this.
@@MalteseFilippo27 honestly have no clue what you're talking about. No one's talking GOAT. Rampage on the other hand, currently holds the record tho for the deepest and largest cash ever recorded in the history of mankind tho..so, there's that.
While rampage plays these hands I’m always trying to figure out what he’s up against and his range was pretty much capped to AQ, KQ suited, or a better hand.
I only just realized that he actually won the tournament.. What an insane run this guy has been on and kudos to the success in poker + the channel. Been great following the journey and what you've been able to build in a short period of time. Gotta risk it for the biscuit!
Ace in the window must have broke villains heart. Then the rest of the flop shows he hit his miracle boat... broke Ethan's heart. Then Ethan makes a better boat. Breaks the villains heart again. Emotional ass hand.
Amazing !!! Our guy played 13 hands of calling or being All In. Ice in his veins !!!! His run good of cards reminded me when he came here to Maryland Live and was dealt so many good cards and everyone called him on every bet. I think he won $6k in that video. Wow oh wow oh wow ! This is poker at its finest !! Congratulations on this video. We all know the outcome but seeing what you went through in just 9 hours was like flying over the Bermuda Triangle. I’m so proud of how this video went. Imagine just being bored on UA-cam about 6 months ago and seeing his video for the first time and then following him ever since to what he has become to poker now. Couldn’t have happened to a better person and better channel.
Lastly, great video Ethan, especially that last hand J-A-A-10-8….beautiful! Can’t wait to see the day 2 video! Congrats!, your officially a tournament player now!!
Ethan, I've been lurking on your channel and see it once in awhile while I watch Kid Polker's Vlog. After today I'm fully subscribed!! Looking forward to seeing the rest of this tournament that you've "stumbled" in too.
Some hands were simply amazing to watch, whatta dream run, first time I will be rewatching your videos and this the first one. Congrats and all the best for day 2, have fun 🤩🥳
on the AK hand 19:00 you can tell the guy had something since his hands were shaking when putting in the chips..he probably put you on a big Ace and knew he had you..great fold
On the AK hand vs the all-in turn shove. I did not even think of 87 as a possibility but actually that makes complete sense! That hand shows you if you read hands correctly you can predict the exact hand. That is why I love poker. 87 or AK trying the scooper a chopped pot or the only hands that make sense.
Our boy Ethan loves to drag things out and leave cliff hangers. People started to forget he won this and then the multi day vlog comes. All jokes aside, awesome win.
I played about 15 years ago at foxwoods for a few months and did pretty well. Of course children and life had me on the 9:00 to 5:00. I've moved back to the area if only went and played poker one time but I'm up LOL. I'm considering I'm going once a month just to play for a day while I build my little bank roll up. I like watching you play and I hope one day to make it on the vlog
If you don't want to read my ENTIRE comment, here is a quick summary: He opened from the button, preflop. He smooth called your preflop 3-bet. That board gives him a TON OF POTENTIAL DRAWS. When you smooth-call his raise on flop, he knows, with nearly 100% certainty, you have one pair. I honestly think it's a standard call at 17:00 (when you folded AK.) He opened from the button, and smooth called your 3-bet (preflop.) He check-raised you on the flop, and you smooth-called. Considering all that information, you can be fairly certain he doesn't have more than 10-12 value hands. 6 combo's of sets (7's, and 8's), 6 combo's of two pairs. Now, how many bluffs/semi-bluffs can he have? If suited in spades: Q-J/Q-10/10-9/J-9/5-6/6-7/4-5 (remember, he opened from the button.) Other suits: (10-9)x3 (5-6)x3 (His flop Check-Raising range could also include gutter-ball straight-draws, and when you smooth-called his check raise on the flop, he decided to go for it on the turn because it looks very strong.) So, the totals are 13 semi-bluffs, 12 value hands, but this is more conservative in regards to his potential bluffs. Now, add pot-odds to that, and take into consideration your smooth-call on the flop, a flop that is SUPER F'N WET.
I was gonna say that A10 vs JJ hand at the end I was going to say was the sickest flop and turn I’ve seen at the World Series but literally i saw the quad 4’s hit on flop followed by a guy making quad 6’s on the turn. So you had to release this video on the same day that pokerGo releases that quad vs quad hand huh. Haha. At any rate best of luck the rest of this tournament. I wish there was someway I could look into the future and see how you finished. I guess I’ll just have to watch the next vlog on hopefully Monday!! Hope all is well my boy Ethan!! His words not mine.

Hello from Singapore ... Wow ... u are in form now .. Playing really great poker .. (especially in your traps) 👍👍👍✌🙏 Please keep up your good work ... Keep on winning .. !
Pocket KKs at 23:50, when you 3-bet to 25K pre and he just calls, he very likely doesn't have JJs, QQs, or AAs, or even AK. On a Q-6-3 flop, the best hands he can have flatting your 3-bet are 66s and 33s, and 33s might even fold pre sometimes. You c-bet 18k into 56k. I hate it, because he likely has A-Q, QJs, sometimes Q-10s, J-10s, or pairs like 7s-10s. You essentially have the nuts. Since he has so many Q's in his range, you should charge him more on the flop, I can even get behind a jam here if player type is a little loose. When turn is basically a brick, you also should be betting at least pot, IMO. You have to deny equity to the Ace or charge the max. You basically gave him a good price to realize his equity on flop and turn. You gave him better than 3-1 on your turn bet. It all worked out, just thought this line wasn't very good but it worked out in the end so good on you.
BTW when he calls your 18K cbet on flop on that dry board given how the hand is played he almost ALWAYS has AQ. I knew that was his hand before you revealed it.
Played some poker yesterday and heard about probably one of the most painful coolers ever on the other table: QQ vs AQ flop Q 2 2 they get it all in, turn 2, river 2, quads with A high wins
I knew right away that the big stack villain flopped 2 pair, I thought maybe A8 Suited or 7-8 Suited he freaked out when the 2 straight and 2 flush cards were out there lol. Wow, what a roller coaster 🎢 ride. The aggressive player at the beginning of the vlog was cracking me up with his moves!! He clearly had no self awareness and lacked in knowledge of how he was being read.... Good luck for day two let's hope you run deep and give some good footage for us all. Ps less napkin showdowns although it was quite funny
AK fold was cool. The only hand that would have paid off your AK on the flop was AQ. Then, on turn Q hit…probably making his hand AQ double pair. Very hard to get away from that hand, but good you threw it away. 👍
The napkin animation could set a new direction in high quality poker vlog production. I expect to see Brad Owen's cat doing a few napkin hands in a couple days.
Was totally thinking “How does rampage not own any decks of cards?” - loved it.
🤣🤣🤣
I bet even Brad Owen ends up doing a napkin hand breakdown
Brad has already done the napkin thing like a year ago.. soooooooo
Brad was the OG napkin hand reviewer
Great CGI with the reenactment. Really impressive stuff.
Nothing but class and expertise....
ya the way how he made it look like napkin scraps was very very impressive.

One of the rare times he thought it out and didn't end with ... " But I jammed"

when does it isnt on Ethan's side? The only time he loses is because he punt, and no luck could save you if you are already drawing dead

I agree. The best you could do in that hand is chop but I guess you were way behind. Good and correct fold 👍 Thats how you win tournaments 💪💪
