- How do I reset my JVC television to factory settings?
JVC Hard Reset JVC TV LT-32V250 · The first thing you have to do to perform the Hard Reset operation on your TV set is to display the screen, clicking on the Power
Unplug the JVC from the power outlet for 10 seconds. Plug the JVC TV back into the power outlet. Hold down both the "Menu" and "Volume Down (-)" buttons for another 10 seconds. Just before releasing these buttons, press and hold the "Power" button.
I you have a Remote then do the same steps from the Remote. This just worked for me and I managed to get JVC model LT-22N500A working again

This is rubbish. My JVC smart TV does not have a "setup" section in the menu or a reset feature anywhere in the menus from the menu button.

My JVC 42 inch smart tv, it turn on and the JVC logo displays and suddenly it blanks out but audio is working. Before this , The display used to go blank while the TV is on and audio was playing, then i will switch off and switch on the display came back, but after 3 days of doing this, the display goes completely blank after start up, i dont think there is any issue with the display but the control to the display. Dear Malai K, as your description problem is hardware. You need to change main board or power board. Please send to service center or you can change the board by yourself.
However also you can recheck below issues:
1. Disconnect all devices and cables from tv
2. Unplug tv power cable from electric source for 10 minutes and now recheck the issues. Please reply your feedback.

This is happening due faulty lvds cable or tcon board.
1. So, please power off tv wait 10 minutes for avoid electric ⚡️shock. Then open back cover of TV.
2. Disconnect the Lvds cable and other cables from tcon board and main board. 3. Clean dust inside of the TV
4. Check the lvds cable and tcon board with another good tv.

Hello, how can I solve a visual issue, tv is turning on (red standby light to power on) and if I was to turn on my PlayStation or put on Netflix, audio is working perfectly but can’t see anything at all, when I flash a light at the screen however I can barely see the faint image behind (possibly a lighting situation?) is there a way to fix this without going to repair shop? UA-cam updated their app but jvc not update their tv software. So create conflict between tv & UA-cam. Kindly wait for tv software update hopefully they solve this problem very soon.
However there are alternative solutions here:
1. Install old versions UA-cam app
2. Sign out then restart your TV and then sign in again google account

I have a JVC lt-40C880 TV and a few days ago Netflix just stopped working (UA-cam / Freeview Play etc still work fine. If I press the Netflix button (or access it via the Apps applet or Casting from my phone), the screen goes black for 3 seconds and then returns to the TV channel. Done a full re-install - no Setup / Reset options in the Menu.
Also rebooted the Router, changed from Ethernet to Wireless and back, no joy. Done all the unplugging and waiting the restarting.
Any ideas? Help please.
Note: Netflix is working fine on every other device Inc Fire TV 4K stick.

1. Disconnect all external cables and power plug then wait 5 minutes.
2. Open tv back cover and check lvds cable.
3. Disconnect lvds cable on t con board.
4. Clean all dust inside of tv, lvds cable and port.
5. Now recheck the problem.
6. If same problem then try to replace new lvds cable.
This is happening due to Lvds cable or t con board problem.

When I press the on button the red light remains red. Sometimes after removing the power cord from the power source and you press the on button the light turns blue, but no screen display.

Hi natty, due to incomplete software update issues.
So please update tv software via usb drive.

Hey palesa moloantoa, check tv brightness if not work that’s mean hardware issues. Send it to service center or try at home.
check & cleR dust from connector cable from main board to t con board. If not work then replace it.

Hi I have a JVC LT- 32c850, all of a sudden while I was watching it the screen went to half of its original brightness and the screen started flickering. I have tried adjusting power setting, picture type, brightness etc etc and obviously turning on and off.
Even the JVC logo is dark on the screen when I turn it on, any idea's what the problem is?
Hey noel harvey, Most of the time is their FPC cable contact pins dirty. After clean the screen problem solved. If not solved then replace the Tcon board.

How do I get JVC tv out of 'demo' mode?
Go to ATV on the source of RC.. The press menu on RC.. Go to settings usind the key button.. Press OK then navigate to store mode.. Make sure its on off position

That sounds like the HDMI cable is doggie. Spend abit more money and get a good one
Hey friend, if tv sound is ok then unplug tv power cable and external power cable. After 40 minutes later power in all devices cable. Now recheck the issues.
Reverse the hdmi cable.
