Volkswagen Golf Mk8 - honest car review

A little different for me but I reviewed a VAG relative of the Audi TT Mk1 I usually work on and took a close look at a VW Golf Mk8 in October.
This is an honest review covering:
The VW Golf Mk8 looks,
The VW Golf Mk8 interior storage,
The ride quality of the Volkswagen Golf Mk8,
The VW Golf mk8 handling,
The VW Golf Mk8 Performance
I had this car for a month and got to know it very well.
It was a 2.0L VW Golf manual gearbox and was particularly sluggish.
Please let me know what you think of my review in the comments.
Maybe you can use this as a reference if you are asking yourself Should I buy a VW Golf Mk8?
Overall, it is a decent small car and a great example of Volkswagen engineering.

Just an idea,have a play with the cars settings you should be able to activate coming home lights in the menu

Was gonna say thats a funny looking TT haha, great cars but for me they have lost that luster that the early golfs have

Yes I feel they have lost that hot hatch appeal from the mk1 and 2. Feels more like the polos of old. However it was an into into the VW world which totally blew me away when I got in the Touareg!

My mk6 1.6tdi turns the lights on so properly a setting. And it also recommends early gear change even with a stage 1 map still to early on some roads.

Yeah it was great Peter. It had great all around vision too which I forgot to mention. Main drawback was its sluggishness.
