@TheUltimateNewGod Yeah, it's totally awesome. Especially how the mechs all seem to follow a certain build and color scheme but have different variations depending on their position.
This just proves one thing. ANIME DOESN'T NEED TO COME FROM JAPAN! Okay it does to be considered 'true' anime, but that doesn't mean they get to hog the glory with creating all the shows. >_>
the toonami(and the US one)is exactly the same, just that the credits are in english(P.S. 1:13 the bulky unit's attack looks like the VF-19's tornado punch[VF-19 is from the Macross series])
@cyberspace17 maybe you were thinking of the miniseries that aired right before the actual series. i haven't seen that one but i heard it was slightly different from the actual series that was aired in both the US and Toonami showings. It could stand to reason that the opening was different too...
@Micco2552 no if anyone saw it when it aired on Toonami then they know what I'm talking about. there is a noncomparable difference between the two. I didn't see the mini series.
@cyberspace17 this is EXACTLY right. I've been trying to find the true version that they aired on Toonami all of the internet for months and months and cannot find it. After watching the "real" version the was aired on toonami, it is impossible to watch this because a TON of the music is changed and different during some of the best and most important scenes. It pisses me off that I can't find it anywhere, and Im scared to download a torrent cuz i think it will be this crappy version of it
No it doesn't. It had a person speaking not sining and he was basically giving the setting of the igpx. this definately wasn't it. I haven't sen the granted this is the one they have on the dvds this is not the one they aired on tv.
I Remember Watching This Anime On CARTOON NETWORK's TOONAMI Block Back In The Day.
the NASCAR of japan
This was my jam after Naruto back in the day lmao

EPIC ! Why didn't Cartoon network keep making amazing shows like this?
