He Flashing Fired to prevent the XYZ summon of an Exosister. It is the secondary effect of Returnia after it banishes. Unlike Arment, Returnia requires that all materials be valid for the XYZ summon requirement.
Just wanna point out that you can't see a timer in the featured match the judge only tells you that you have x min left before each game. And because there were 19 min left nobody felt like they need to hurry so time came out of nowhere because nobody knew the time.
@@Teebs1996 All YCSs are 45 min rounds now. But the best realistic solution imo is to have a 40 minute round with 15 mins to finish 0-3 turns as end of match procedures. So basically old time rules but a 15 minute cap on them. Keeps rounds under an hour, makes burn/gain cards pretty much useless, discourages stalling, and lets people fully finish the game they're in.
@@Boristien405agreed, i just want them to aleast try something in general. I could goto any locals or event and most matches end due to time, and not the game actually finishing. Expecially in this format with runic and tear. Doesn't help when casual players dont know when to scoop and drag out games either. On top of that it makes winning the die roll even more of a advantage. The finals of this ycs the dinkaboi wanted to scoop after losing the roll to save time knowing how it the clock would be in g3 and they wouldnt allow it. Konami is just awful with keeping the game healthy tbh
I would have special summoned Martha in attack. I know it protects lp but especially if you know you may be playing spright, 1600 is a lot more than 800. Elf is only 1400 for example and each spright has less than 1600 attack.

I literally hate time rules man, the modern game just takes up too much time for 40min matches, should be 50mins imo
Was this YCS not 45 minutes like they've been tending to do in recent YCSes?

If he didn’t flash fire, returnia will xyz for mikaelis, so the spright player will lose both live twin monsters
This was a pretty cool duel. I feel like the exosister player could have definitely won if it wasn’t for the time rules
4:30 because otherwise he could've xyz summoded with returnia
he flashing fire one because returnia will xyz with the monsters after banishing
