- Exosister Playstyle:
"Exosister" is an Xyz Monster-based archetype focused on punishing the opponent for interacting with the Graveyards, with conditional Trigger Effects that allow the player to Xyz Summon monsters using only 1 "Exosister" monster.
All "Exosister" Main Deck monsters have two effects: a shared 1-card-Xyz Trigger Effect that can be used if a card is moved out of a GY, and an individual effect.
The shared 1-card-Xyz effect allows Main Deck "Exosister" monsters to immediately turn into Xyz boss monsters (see below) with disruptive or suppressive effects if the opponent moves any card out of either GY.
The condition of "the opponent moving a card out of either GY" can be triggered by the opponent moving cards via a card's cost, effect, or Summoning conditions.
The Rank 8 "Exosisters Magnifica" requires 2 "Exosister" Rank 4 Xyz monsters to summon, and cannot be summoned by "Exosister" 1-card-Xyz effects. It has double attack, Quick Effect (non-targeting) banish, and Quick Effect 1-card-Xyz effects, making for a potent game finisher.
"Exosister" Spell/Traps provide diverse removal, utility, and consistency options. "Pax" provides Spell Speed 2 searching and conditional special summoning. "Arment" provides a conditional Spell Speed 2 manual 1-card Xyz effect. "Carpedivem" provides Continuous protection, conditional "Prohibition" effect, and S/T removal. "Vadis" is a trap that special summons 2 "Exosister" monsters from Deck with return-to-deck restrictions, incentivizing the player to time the trap's activation correctly and immediately use the summoned monsters' effects to perform 1-card-Xyz summons. "Returnia" provides targeted banish removal, and provides additional combo or removal if conditions are met.
"Exosister" setup combos focus on swarming Level 4 Spellcaster monsters, in order to summon "Exosister Mikailis" and search for a S/T for use as disruption on the opponent's turn (typically "Returnia"). If possible, the Deck will typically extend into another "Exosister" Xyz monster to then summon "Exosisters Magnifica" for more disruptions. "Exosister Martha", with its double summon effect, thus becomes central to the swarming strategy; it is searchable by "Exosister Kaspitell", so making a single "Kaspitell" guarantees the full combo of summoning "Mikailis" and then "Magnifica".

Exosister best deck!
Americans so good they let a tier 5 deck win.
Facts
Final duel was against mathmech-Ignister
This deck won out of tear format 😭😭😭😭
Let * I think you mean so good a tier 5 deck won . Give credit when it’s due lad
The YCS had a lot of known named people and high level players. This comment just comes off as hating. This guy simply outplayed the competition.
Talents is pretty rough against magnifica. I know this player mentioned you can summon mikailis in defense position to prevent them from zeusing you but they still get to banish a card from your field regardless of whether or not the banish effect has been used this turn by you. Mikailis isn't a once per turn per copy card, it's once per turn per name similar to spright elf. So if they talents take it after you use the effect to banish they can still banish a card of yours.
What u can do if u have good Backup u can detaxh mikaelis and summon the monster searxher if u expect talence
Lol Nesh wass suuuuper skeptical 🧐 😂
Paul Calvert taught him everything he knows
Remember your Exos won't have full effects if you use Sakitama + Aratama as total materials.
How many participants did the event have?
300+. So, about the size of a regional. But maybe more like a national given the level of players in the top cut. Many of which won previous ycs and national events.
This was a good reminder that Exosister has no hits, though it honestly doesn't need any besides maybe Dimension Shifter(I don't buy the "at least it's bricky" excuse, so was Driver). I'd like the deck a lot better if Martha was the standard instead of the band-aid. But that's like saying every Mathmech card should be Circular(though considering the way they make use of Small World...).
That said, people are really underestimating how helpful the Spririt engine is for the deck, and it's probably the best Rank 4 toolbox availible at the moment.
There's an important diff w/ Driver though. Even if you open it you can still resolve your Psyframes as long as your opponent activates an effect. This card is genuinely dead past t1 in the vast majority of cases so seeing it later in the game is still a brick.
Even into a meta where running 3 is optimal you are running 3 cards in your deck that do nothing for you past t1 unless you are on Bystials and normal summon it alongside onet to go into Wollo or something. Not to mention it opens you up to Mannequin Cat lines.
That OTK line is pretty good
Respect but that shifter reasoning had me doubting. Sounds like he just doesn't think its worth having in the main and that its better just being in the side. I think its a 3 of or 0 of just because of the nature of the card. U don't care about drawing multiple if it instawins u the game, and if it isnt instawinning u the game its prob not the format to play it in the main.
As an Exo player, why 3 Aratama and 2 Sakitama instead of the other way around (2A/3S)? Also, was it that necessary to make it a 41-card deck?
Yeah that is definitely wrong. 3 Sakitama is necessary compared to Aratama
I think you can just cut Feather (or move it to side)
It depends what you want. The pay off for seeing Aratama instead of Sakitama is way higher if it goes through. It is full combo by itself if it goes through, jus risker because you are dead in the water if they stop it. So looks to me like he prefers the way higher payoff that comes with a bit more risk. Sakitama by itself is just a simple extender, not full combo. Makes sense to me to run 3 Aratama if you are okay with the risk. As he said in his videos though, less handtraps in this format than last, so less chance of Aratama getting handtrapped
How many people Participate?
The talents play is weird. You just go battlephase crash or just atk with any monster. Then you talents take
Oh yeah. So summon anything, attack into defense mikalos. Talents it to your side and still make Zeus with it?
well he can just banish the monster that try to attack it..
they talent first is to shutdown returnia bc, returnia cant active if there is no exosister monster
@@ZyxWhitewind it just leaves room for any random monster being able to stick makes the talents into Zeus play
I mean, Shifter, DRNM, Necrovalley and Gozen win games on their own. Prosperity is busted and the deck has a couple 1 card combos that set up a disruptive enough board. Can OTK too easily so with a bit of luck it's possible to win an event.
What’s the first link he shows?
dona fur hire
Always knew this deck was broken. Ending on 4 individual banishes from martha + any level 4 is fucking absurd
1 kaiju usually turns off all your interruptions if not most of them since they need you to control only exos
@@Ceimsader Yeah, back when I played an alt-format with them there was a reason why Vadis was great but Returnia was below mediocre.
Are you italian?
First 🔥
STEVEN!
Why’s this guy keep fidgeting with his deck? Like stop 🛑. Chill out man.
Me when I own real cards
US players like to mock EU players for random decks topping but let a dead deck win a YCS lol
Also nice shifter/drnm ratios for a remote event... "you see it only when you need to"
He would play 1 then
Imagine being this salty and accusing someone of cheating just because they won with an under represented deck 🤡🤡
My dude its 2023 stop doing deck profiles with physical cards. Its so much less presentable and watchable than a acreengrab of DB or Edopro.
