That was wonderful... thank you. I liked that you included the future tense and the preterite. I couldn't recall how to conjugate 'ir' in the future tense, so I went with 'vamos ir' for 'we will go'. 😊

She's Mexican. I feel like that's common in Mexico and Colombia. (I'm sure she'll correct me if I'm wrong.) In Argentina, they'd say it more like "Ssho" The different Spanish speaking countries say things a bit different. It does sometimes throw me off though. Not going to lie.

I agree and it’s confusing at times. When you’re learning a new language, you want to get everything right so you don’t look like an idiot when you’re talking to native speakers, but that can be hard when sentence structures flip-flop and changes. So far I’ve learned that there’s not just one right way to say phrase in Spanish.
