  • Join featured exhibition artist Jeffrey A. Wolin with photo-historian Keith F. Davis for a conversation about his fifty-year career as a photographer and educator.
Jeffrey A. Wolin, IU Ruth N. Halls Professor Emeritus of Photography, is an internationally-recognized photographer and was the longtime head of the Indiana University’s photography department. Keith F. Davis, a noted photo-historian and co-curator of the exhibition, Measuring Time: The Photographs of Jeffrey A. Wolin, will speak with Wolin about his development as an artist, aspects of his working method, and the larger ideas that unify his various projects, including his earliest landscapes and portraits of stonecutters, Holocaust survivors, war veterans, and people experiencing homelessness.
Measuring Time: The Photographs of Jeffrey A. Wolin is co-curated by Nanette Esseck Brewer, Lucienne M. Glaubinger Curator of Works on Paper, Eskenazi Museum of Art, and Keith F. Davis, independent photographic historian and former Senior Curator of Photography, Nelson-Atkins Museum, Kansas City.
The exhibition and accompanying catalogue are generously supported in part by Martha and David Moore, David H. Jacobs, IU College of Arts + Sciences, IU Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design, and Marsha R. Bradford and Harold A. Dumes.
