get a pressure washer. It will wash out the lighter pink emulsion off. the lighter pink that's in the design could come off with more pressure in the water
It seems the most labor-intensive part is figuring out the initial exposure. Did you find that subsequent T-shirt designs utilized the same exposure as your first one?
Nice video! Thanks for showing us your journey on learning screen printing! Can you talk a little more on registration? How do you know where to put the design when burning the screen in the exposure unit?
Yes I want to do a whole video on it and will soon! But right now I'm focusing on my main job due to all the covid stuff. So hopefully soon I will be posting another video! Thanks for the interest and support 😊
I’m looking forward to it! So far your videos have been more informational than others and it’s easy to follow along. I just bought my machine a couple days ago lol so I’m trying to learn as much as I can before it gets here !
Heyyyyyy Awesome man!! it was an incredible screen printing. As I worked for a long time with vinyl I believe so screen must be much better than the vinyl because it would be fast and affordable! is that right? I know both totally different in use but I love more screen.
Depends on how much you want to do! For me who does this on the side and still have a lot to learn I would 100% recommend it! Let me know if you have any questions :)
Im thinking of buying the riley 150, for $500+, but im quite hesitant. How long did it take you to get your money back?? And would you say it was worth it??
I just got the 150 and used it for the first time last night, quick 1 color project. It is much nicer to use a press than having to rig 2x4 to make things work and screen clamps. Keep in mind that the 150 does not come with, and is not compatible with, the micro reg heads. I figure I will use it to get started and be able to experiment with and not spend $1.5K+ on a press (if this does work out for me at least 6x4 will be the next press). Initial impressions are: 1. ease of use (see comment above) 2. it is going to take a little extra for multi screen alignment, but it will be doable without much issue 3. I have the bench top press (dont know if it comes as a floor model). It has a relatively small footprint so you can stick it in a corner and still be able to use all the print heads with screens on. I am excited for the projects I have in mind and the 150 will help with those, am aware of the machines limitations, and am prepared on the little extra it will take to do multi screen prints. Hope some of this info is helpful.
@@cs3807 I feel bummed out, i thought to upgrade my new 150 press in the future by adding the micro registration. I thought they were compatible with each other.
@@ceelocc1 It was something that I was looking into also. You can upgrade the 250 but not the 150. Check out the question on this product: www.screenprinting.com/products/junior-print-head-xy-micro-upgrade-for-1-station-models Just use this to really dial in good screen pre-registration and hand reg on the press.
nice job bud. I will be ordering all my stuff in the next few weeks. cant wait
Love the Spoon S2K board above the TV
