great barber quarter rusty. ihaven't seen you're vids in a while. I watched just about all of yours and Jonathan's before buying my etrac 2 yrs ago lemme tell ya, I love mine! learned alot from watching your videos. Good hunt!
Hi Rusty, Etrac owner here (fairly new, only my 2nd year), enjoy watching and learning on your vids, especially the ones with the etrac. Notice you use Andys opened pattern, that serve you well? I attended a etrac boot camp hosted by Andy recently and learned so much, brain overload as you can imagine. Two of the things he said caught my attention and wonder your thoughts, 1st was he noise cancels the etrac with the coil sitting on the ground, not in the air like they indicate in the manual, He explained why and gave a good explanation and also, i asked him about the TTF internet truths and falses,,,,he basically indicated he doesnt use TTF, never has on any regular basis..anyway, im still learning..keep up the good work
Very cool that you got to hunt with the Legend haha congrats ... wow that clad spill could of easily popped out a silver haha .. Congrats on saving that 1900 Barber Quarter Randy yes I enjoyed Sir ... Jim
Hey JD good to hear from you! Ya we need to get together sometime before it gets hot out lol. I've literally only been detecting like twice this spring and only for a few hours but hopefully can get more time soon. I feel like I keep saying that lol. That software project I was telling you about I got finished turned into more work so still trying to finalize that before I can get some time off.
Nice 1 pitty it wasn't a silver spill oh well can't complain I like aqua as a special guest that was cool 😎 ps I still use the Andy s pattern which I programmed into the etrac shortly after I got after watching your video on how to program that in and I love it ! Also got the 13 inch ultimate coil by detech its punching deeper its great 👍 good to see you doing another video I'll keep a eye out for the next cheers from cointector
ordered me an E-trac cant wait to get it in a week old detector is a whites treasure pro love how basicly the etrac can be programmed exactly to what you wanna hunt i love relics and iron hunting some days and some days i want coins just gonna take a few weeks to learn how it speaks and what its saying wish just they made all the fbs machines waterproof cause id love to run the surf line instead of the damp towl line at the beaches in south carolina 2.5 k is a bit much for a color screen and water proof
I always look forward to watching your videos!!!!! Nice job getting the silver!!!!! I see you had the stock coil on the E-trac. Do you like the stock better for detecting yards???
I have used the stock coil more since I moved to TN because the coins are much more shallow here. In MO I used the large coil in yards so it really just depends on your soil type and hunting conditions like amount of trash =)
Nooooooo! Loved your CTX videos. Where I live In Indiana old coins are 6 to 9 inches deep. So the CTX is great at getting the deeper coins. Ed talked me into buying a deus so I can try out the 4.0 and X Y screen. Told me it's killer at finding coins that the CTX and other detectors missed in iron and trashy sites. Told me I will be amazed. I still enjoy your etrac videos. Great job!
Rusty you need to get the new garrett carrot pro pointer. the older black ones false ALL the time and garrett really fixed that issue with the new version. So much better
hmmm I have a garrett carrot but I use it for water hunting. Maybe I need to test it on land here I haven't used it much in the soil. Thanks for the tip =)
Nice job Rusty! I'm not used to seeing you run the Minelabs so quiet :) Do you still use the CTX or just the Etrac? I own both but am leaning towards selling the CTX since the Etrac does (imo) just as good on deep silver as the CTX, is lighter, and has more coil options.
haha maybe I was just lazy that day and added an extra notch in there lol. I sold my CTX because I got a really good offer I couldn't pass up. If I was going for deep silver I would probably go with CTX and 17" coil if pretty low trash. Here in TN there aren't many deep coins so the etrac with stock coil is plenty. I did notice the CTX seemed much quieter but I'm used to the etrac so it doesn't really bother me =)
Hey Rusty, I have watched your videos well the e-trac ones mostly. They are very inspiring and informative to say the least. I have had my e-trac for close to a month and have found a handful of silvers - I just get so lost in the tones using multi - Do you think that you lose depth at all or could miss targets using 4 tones? or even TTF? I do like the multi but it is such a headache with all the busy ness....
East Tn here too via the chig and wielding an AT Pro. Guessing your near the gap maybe towards Lebanon. Subbed. Where's Rusty?... meaning in this thread.
Great as always Rusty. Cool to see Beau out with you!
Thanks! Need to get out more just been busy with life =)

Looked like a fun hunt. More fun when you find silver especially a barber!
yep it was a lot of fun seeing Mr. Beau do his videos. If I can't get a bunch of silver then one good one is fine for me too lol
Great barber! Looking forward to the next vid.HH

I guess that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes lol

Nice video Rusty. Like to see you do a video with the CTX and Coiltek 9 x 14 coil?
I don't have my CTX anymore. If I move to an area with deeper coins I'll probably pick another one up and do some more comparison videos =)

Way to go man! great hunt! How did you pull off getting Beau there?
Thanks! He was just passing through and stopped by for a few hours =)

You will not lose depth using the TTF or 4 tone so if it works for you then go for it =)
Found you through aquachig I live in east Tennessee cpl hours from Nashville, know of any good areas?
East Tn here too via the chig and wielding an AT Pro. Guessing your near the gap maybe towards Lebanon. Subbed. Where's Rusty?... meaning in this thread.
Rusty,Your plugs could be alot better.
I haven't seen anything from you in 4 months, so I'm unsubscribing you as of today (Sept 25). Thank you for your previous great videos.
