What on earth does "represents a new generation of Baroque interpreters" mean? Has he been elected as their representative? Their model? What sets him or them apart from older ones? Fashion, perhaps...This is serious overblowing of a perfectly average professional singer (yes, he's young and handsome, and sings and plays, but not as well as many others that do "just" one of these!
It has been such a joy following the talents of Sinkovsky. He has brought such fresh perspectives to so much repertoire, and I love his fresh insights and interpretations.

The best legato I ever heard in this aria - very impressive. And countertenor is the best timbre - and not a woman alto voice - to reflect the content of this divine music .
