Give this interviewer a raise! Asked questions I feel most people would want to hear an answer to from these legendary people in cinema. Great job.
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you!
@@jonathangallegos958 love to hear it! Thanks for that, will be tuning in :)
an interviewer who actually has a heart can be rare to come by sometimes
Nolan has to listen to a paragraph every time the interviewer opens his mouth
@@jonathangallegos958 well, I found myself a new podcast to listen to, cheers.
What a soft spoken, well listening, non interrupting, engaging interviewer. Classy. Please give him a raise and more exposure.
Cillian seems like a guy who at first is shy and guarded, but as soon as he feels comfortable, he opens up wonderfully. Excellent interviewer!
Yep, he's talked about being an introvert in the past.
Isn’t that just how people are normally 😮
@@henrymarks1632 Not always. Ask an extrovert.
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you!
That is a defintiion of a introvert…. Introvert isn’t the same as shy.
The guy asking the questions was the best interviewer I’ve ever seen. Great job
Not really, it was all about him and his fanboyism. Bet you 100 to 1 he's a former film student. This is narcissism that is prevalent in the film world.
@@VFXforfilm The interviewer didn't ask questions in a vacuum. He was trying to connect with Nolan in a fitting way. It's not narcissistic. He did go a bit fanboy mode, though.
@@VFXforfilm you come across as really bitter and judgemental. The people he's interviewing are clearly having a good exchange with him while in comparison you are offended by his questions. Maybe the narcissist is yourself and you're just projecting 🤷🏾♂️
@@KP-ec7mr he is clearly correct and your attempt to paint him as bitter and judgemental is sad and cringe. The guy asking questions is desperately trying to be friends with these people at the cost of coming across like a douchebag throughout the interview. Nobody respects a brown noser, he should go stand by the side of red carpets and scream for autographs. Also your confidence is undeserved, you obviously are not a good reader of people, nor do you understand professionalism or restraint.
@@fireball43 interviewers shouldn't try and "connect" with the interviewee. They should ask important questions and maybe say a little nice word at the end. A good interviewer shouldn't put much of himself in the interview at all as it distracts from the questions and answers. This guy is probably the worst interviewer I've ever seen...
We all know Christopher Nolan and Cillian Murphy are incredible people, but let's take a moment to appreciate Kevin McCarthy. The guy interviewing them. He always works his ass off for these interviews!
Never seen Cillian Murphy talk freely like this.
Right?! He's normally a man of few words and you can often tell he doesn't wanne be there. This is the complete opposite
He seems like a guarded person who only enjoys being around intelligent, insightful people --- and this interviewer is that
@@fredwerza3478 i think it has more to do with him being part of a big movie that he really cares about
I think he's very proud of this one. He's waited a long time for a big lead role like this knowing that Nolan was waiting to give it to him eventually, and it's getting rave reviews so far.
I love the questions he asked and the way he's actually interested and relates it to himself. You can tell how much Cillian actually enjoyed and appreciated it. They are so interesting, props to the interviewer and who ever came up with the questions.
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you!
Yes but it was a shame it was so seemingly rushed. Cilian looked like he actually wanted to chat with him a bit more lol.
As a christopher nolan fan,i wish oppenheimer a huge success❤
It is
this is the way
😂😂😂 imax documentary
Very interesting noticed
It's coming out at the same time with Mission Impossible. So hard to say it will be successful. It gotta make more than $500 million to be profitable
Imagine being an 18 year old and your dads the guy who played Thomas FOCKIN Shelby.....
Nolan, Nolan, Nolan, ageing wisely... we are grateful for living with him at the same time on this planet.
That was one of the best interview I ever heard, the way to started with the first question with a personal ancedote to the last question derived from a dialogue. Amazing questions, better put out. Hope you find success and we get to see you more.
Right such good questions im glad the interviewer was a fan
and he’s hot too like omfg
Kevin is the best!
He's part of my favorite film podcast called "ReelBlend", if you liked this interview, it's definitely for you
@@jonathangallegos958 reel blend is amazing!
Another great interview Kev
Cillian is absolutely right. Big Lebowski & Apocalypse Now are two of my favorite movies ever made.
This Interviewer is really good, excellent even. I can feel his passion and the other side always seems to be genuinely interested in questions. Keep up the good work man.
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you!
This guy is a cinema scientist. Period.
He shouldn't win Oscars, he should win Nobel prizes for his movies.

The first ever christopher nolan movie that i watched was the prestige his most underrated film of all time after that became his fan and watched all his movies in cinema plus fell in love with chrsitian bale while watching the prestige
The prestige is very underrated unless you come across Insomnia(2002)
It's underrated as shit
The Prestige is my favorite movie of all time. I absolutely love it.
@@hemangkorane1797yup. Al and robin dono ki performance sahi thi and regret theme was also greatly executed. I liked that movie. Nolan has 0 bad films 🙏🏿
Easily one of the best interviewers in the business. A great interview.
Man this interviewer is good!
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you!
@@jonathangallegos958 thanks homie!
This is how you do it you get an interview with Nolan you don't come with some bs questions. You come with thoughtful deep researched questions that reveal more to the audience.
They were all bs questions, it felt like every question was an attempt to brown nose the subject. I wanna run into that room and tell that guy that these people would respect him more if he took his head out of their ass. Cillian is a professional actor and even he didn't really know how to contain the extreme level of brown nosing at play here. This is not how you interview Christopher Nolan...
@@d.jparer5184 I feel like he just wanted to show his admiration. Complimenting someone and showing that doesn't make you weak or obedient or a brown-noser. He had a chance to talk to a director he loves, and he wanted him to know why he enjoys his movies, nothing wrong with that.
@@d.jparer5184 What non bs questions would you ask him then?
This is one of the best interviews I've seen this year so far! Love the questions and the tone set throughout! ❤
Damn, he is probably one of the best interviewer I have seen
Yeah he definitely is. Ali Plumb from the BBC is also a great interviewer and he has had great interviews with Christopher Nolan in the past.
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you!
This interviewer is awesome! I loved his compassion and love for film. You can tell he’s a genuine fan of film, and of Nolan. I loved the questions!
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitetly for you!
For anybody wondering, the interviewer name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you! I just wanted to thank him for sharing his passion with all of us, I truly think he deserves such a bigger platform.
What cillian said about movie that he watched with his kids?
@@lakshimiakshithavoloju2006 He mentioned 'apocalypse now' and 'the big lebowski'
Thank you 🤗🤗🤗
I'm so happy that C. Nolan and Denis Villeneuve and Ridley Scott are still doing those ambitious, huge, epic movies.
Can't wait for Oppenheimer, Dune and Bonaparte
Don’t forget Killers of the Flower Moon from Martin Scorsese! Incredibly excited for that as well.
Two phenomenons of the film world. I hope they both earn Oscars for this film.
Thank you Christopher Nolan for elevating our movie tastes with your intelligent, engaging and well written, well directed movies. Hope Oppenheimer is your biggest blockbuster to date.❤
This Interviewer set up his questions so well. Watching this felt unlike any other interview. Impressive how he emotionally connected so well in a short form interview like this.
What a great interviewer
You can tell that Nolan and Murphy really dug you! Both of them look so relaxed. Great interview !
Fox 5 DC, Give This man a promotion. Great interviewer.
This might be the best movie ever made. I will definitely watch it in an Imax theater.
What an interview. Props to interviewer to make this so engaging and interesting
I just wanna say great professionalism and respects shown by the interviewer.
Finally someone who can ask deep deep questions and let people respond to them. Brilliant interviews.
this interviewer is a breath of fresh air
Actually asking good questions good interviewer wow
Awesome interview! Also, i could listen to Nolan talking about movies all day long... So hyped for Oppenheimer
This is just heartening!❤
This guy is a national treasure.
Christopher Nolan I have read every book that you wrote 🎉❤
This guy asks really good questions
These are the best questions
This interviewer is a gem. What a way to start the interview.
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you!
@@jonathangallegos958 Thank you
Nolan is so hypnotising when he talks about his craft, his gravelled voice almost lulls you into a sleep until you're suddenly jolted by what an extraordinaire of a film director he is.
This interviewer is lovely. Thank you, man - great questions, such care.
The interviewer has clearly done his homework and the questions he asks are thoughtful and do not insult the intelligence of the viewer. Well done.
Watching a master filmmaker like Chris Nolan talk about his films is hypnotizing. I could've listen to him for hours! Cillian Murphy is an exceptional actor as well. With his performance, and Nolan's direction this might become one of the most important movies of 21st century. Can't wait!
love this interviewer, very soft-spoken amazing handshake btw
Man, the interviewer made his homework, no stupid questions and he even crosses the line into straight film theory.
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you!
@@jonathangallegos958 Thanks, I’ll check it out!
great questions and giving the compliments I believe we wish we all could give
The interview is like sitting home and sharing with your friends how you feel about their work, and letting them respond how they felt about doing the work, beautiful!❤🎉
One of the few interviews with Cillian I’ve seen where he was actually asked interesting questions and was clearly very engaged. Awesome.
It's nice to see when the interviewees seem genuinely engaged and like they're actually enjoying the interview!
This is one of the rare times where I've enjoyed a movie promotion interview. Class interviewer asking thought provoking and deep questions, that can be related or taken back to real lives.
Keep it up buddy, would love to see you do more of this ❤️
What a fantastic interviewer
Very intelligent refreshing interview
fantastic interview. enjoyed every second of it!!!
Best interviewer I’ve ever seen. Give this man a podcast.
His name is Kevin, and he is part of my favorite film podcast called "Reelblend", if you liked his interview, it's definitely for you!
Interviewer does a great job here.
A++ Interviews. Well informed and thoughtful. Interviewer wasn't disruptive when they responded. Master class.
Excellent interviewer. So hard to find these days.
The interviewer feels so genuine
Wow !!! This journalist asked some really good questions, especially to Nolan.
This is a great interview.
"Because she loves Pulitzer prize winning books." Lol
Great work mr interviewer
Kevin McCarthy has been hyping up this movie for so long in the ReelBlend Podcast, he's been talking repeatedly over the past few months about reading American Prometheus with his grandmother in preparation for this. I'm so glad all this gets to culminate his journey with the story in interviewing Nolan about it.
I'm so glad I found a Reelblend fan in the comments, his interview went beyond expectations
I'm from Russia and I study English, and I like spend my time watching interviews with celebrities. I really enjoyed listen to it. It's perfect interview with amazing guests!
I've loved Cillian Murphy ever since back when '28 Days Later' first came out. He's such a great actor. I'm completely fascinated by Christopher Nolan's ideas and execution of his films.
Excellent interview, I can't wait to see this masterpiece.
It's refreshing to see Cillian showing genuine interest in the interview. I can only recall silly questions that have nothing to do with movies such as "what's your favourite emoji?"..... I wish all interviewers for press tours had engaging and thought provoking questions like this man gave, as diving into the motives and subject matter of source material is always so interesting. This interviewer is a gentleman and a scholar.
American Prometheus is one of my favourite books of all time as I have always found Oppenheimer to be a very interesting person and is one of my heroes
Kudos to the interviewer. That is such a great opening question that got such engaged and interesting answers from Cillian and Christopher. Love it!
Great insight into the mind of a genius, thank you for this interview
that was a great interview. well done.
Great interivew!
Murphy just keeps getting better and better
Great Interview. Great questions!
this interviewer deserves a raise
I loved the interviewer , you can see that he's a fan of Nolan and cilian and of cinema in general ❤
brilliant questions, mate! No wonder Cilian was so enthused to address em
Cillian is introvert. Introvert isn’t the same than shy. As soon there are questions with substance, he is in. He is brilliant actor… Kevin McCarthy is the best Interviewer, i want to watch more of him.
“In Nolan we trust”
THE quesions were so good even cillian was eager to answer
I'm so hyped for this film. This just may take my spot as my favorite Nolan film.
My favorite actor and one of the most underrated and under-utilized.
Cillian for the Oscars next year!
Great interview 👍 👏
Looking forward to watch ths masterpiece 👌
This man made the best, most monumental movies in the last 20 years. Give him his Oscars.
this is the best pre/post release interview of a filmmaker i've ever seen , amazing questions and nice conversation
Nolan always leaves interviews with Kevin thinking "Damn, this guy's good". I always enjoy their conversations.
Absolutely Phenomenal Interview!
Great interviewer
What a great, great interviewer interviewing two absolute legends. Nice job!
Legendary interview. Great job man.
This interviewer is amazing actually connected with Nolan and opened a great discussion with his questions
give this man a raise!!! this was so fun to watch. a really insightful conversation.
I’ll def be seeing it, Nolan is one of my favorite film makers.
Excellent interview. The interviewer was so much better than some of these other channels that lob softball puffy questions at the actors. He definitely did a lot of research and you could tell the Director and actor appreciated it.
I will watch any interview Kevin does! He is so incredible and asks such interesting questions!
