We all know Christopher Nolan and Cillian Murphy are incredible people, but let's take a moment to appreciate Kevin McCarthy. The guy interviewing them. He always works his ass off for these interviews!
I love the questions he asked and the way he's actually interested and relates it to himself. You can tell how much Cillian actually enjoyed and appreciated it. They are so interesting, props to the interviewer and who ever came up with the questions.
I think he's very proud of this one. He's waited a long time for a big lead role like this knowing that Nolan was waiting to give it to him eventually, and it's getting rave reviews so far.
Just when I thought I couldn't love Cillian anymore than I already do, he goes and mentions The Big Lebowski...its honestly impossible to not like this guy.

This is how you do it you get an interview with Nolan you don't come with some bs questions. You come with thoughtful deep researched questions that reveal more to the audience.

@@d.jparer5184 I feel like he just wanted to show his admiration. Complimenting someone and showing that doesn't make you weak or obedient or a brown-noser. He had a chance to talk to a director he loves, and he wanted him to know why he enjoys his movies, nothing wrong with that.

It's refreshing to see Cillian showing genuine interest in the interview. I can only recall silly questions that have nothing to do with movies such as "what's your favourite emoji?"..... I wish all interviewers for press tours had engaging and thought provoking questions like this man gave, as diving into the motives and subject matter of source material is always so interesting. I've loved Cillian Murphy ever since back when '28 Days Later' first came out. He's such a great actor. I'm completely fascinated by Christopher Nolan's ideas and execution of his films.
American Prometheus is one of my favourite books of all time as I have always found Oppenheimer to be a very interesting person and is one of my heroes
Nolan is so hypnotising when he talks about his craft, his gravelled voice almost lulls you into a sleep until you're suddenly jolted by what an extraordinaire of a film director he is.

Excellent interview. The interviewer was so much better than some of these other channels that lob softball puffy questions at the actors. He definitely did a lot of research and you could tell the Director and actor appreciated it.
I'm sitting here listening to Chris say "this is going to leave you troubled" gets me more excited for this. I love music and movies and shows that actually get am emotional reaction from you because that means it broke and effected you more than anything you were expecting at the time and forces you to think more about it. I'm extatic for this movie!!!!!!!!
