It mixes sound; it doesn't make sound.
Another problem is, even if you use this tune, if you couldn't hear someone run up behind you, or deploy a chute behind you, you won't hear them with this tune either. The audio being busted scuffed and trash isn't fixed by this audio mix, it just enhances what does play, it will NOT make silent/broken audio audible.
Aim lock is hooking into the game and hacking it. Are you suggesting Art's audio is hooking into the game itself and changing/hacking it? I did just explain that it's doing nothing but mixing audio files that are already playing. i cant even hear my own footsteps most the time Audio is worst of any shooter. The only game where you cant load it up and hear footsteps naturally you have to run 5 different programs with EQs and virtual cables.... its absolutely pathetic

if it was a single app i could have keept using it but i need to constantly switch to different channels when i use speakers and iems and it breaks the audio for me and i have to manually switch and it's not really worth it for me
Any idea if just going into Sound Control Panel, record tab, right clicking audio cable, properties, and enabling "listen" on my main audio device causes any more or less latency than using voicemeeter? I just don't like the cluttery feel of using Voicemeeter. Most people use this as a workaround to use wireless headphones on a GoXLR or mixer, so I gave it a shot with the audio cable and seems to work fine for me.
I have a zen stack. I mostly use my 250 ohm open backs when I play. I don't know if you can adjust the tune for headphones. Sometimes I will use my IEMS. But if I can get away from VM that would be great also 😁. Keep up the good work 💪

First and foremost, thank you for the audio awareness in general. Second, I disagree with the post check podcast cry babies. In reality, your tune balances the game for those that don't have the top of the line tech. The reason these quote on quote really good players are calling for it to be banned is because they no longer have an advantage. Once that advantage goes away so does their bot lobby content because at best they're average players. Your tune is what their mods and team have been doing for them for years, now that anyone can do it due to your videos and explanation, it eliminates an advantage and a moderator field.
This has been a wonderful update to my setup. I just have a question, the crates are LOUD and drown out a lot of other noises with this. Is there a way to dampen them down so they don't mask other audio?

Dont suppose my Topping DX3 Pro+ is one of the DAC's that can run 7.1 without Voicemeter? Also the people that say this is cheating are delusional. Anyone can mix thier audio any number of ways. PC just has more ways to tune audio but guess what, PC is already an advantage in every way just like controllers with paddles.

Actually , its super bad. It's just so unbalanced it could make ears bleed..The tutorial is great ,tbh one of the best ones I ever went through. But your general 7.1 idea doesn't work. The new perk that gives footstep boost proves that they can make footsteps pinpoint perfect. But they don't want to. It's done intentionally. Skill gap is not welcome in this game. Grown men are forced to take controllers in their hands to stay compettletive against 7year Olds 😁😁😁. Believe me these 7yrolds is 80% what brings them money bags.

Sorry. But if some of the best players are GAing your audio tune because they know how OP it is against casuals, but don't want it used in a pro environment. It's cheating. They know how loud the movements they make can be with your audio tune, and they don't want it used against them. But in a casual environment, is it ok? While I appreciate the time you take to make the audio better in this shit game, uhhh, the fact of the matter is it's not the audio intended for multiplayer competition, and being used by any player is a clear advantage over someone using a simple EQ software from the headset they purchased, or the base audio used by TV/ monitor speakers or a headset that just slightly improves the players ability to hear directional audio. The fact you got in a discord and they debated this. Literally gives the answer that only a small percentage of players (the best in the world, and those who know of you) approve of this for casual matches (in their eyes meaningless). Somehow I miss some step sounds even if they are next to me and 2 min later I can hear them 45 m away. But almost everytime i cant hear the slidecancel sound of other player. Is this cause I play with airpods and they just have 16bit?
I think this is less cheating and more of a fix for bad mastering/occlusion/ as well as arguably bad eq as well on the normal stereo audio on mw3 (seemingly its designed for tv's or audio devices like a soundbar or things like speakers that are mono or a single unit with stereo) Thanks again for these improvements you made the game better for a bunch of us
The only time I hear people there is when they are 2 feet away from me then I die...but when the sound is working and you are in a building the footsteps are in both ears..so you don't know if they are above you or below you and you die
